If anyone was wondering about the stargate led ring mod, here's some info on it:
I’ve been to all of the Pintastic shows and this one was hands down the best. It was well run - congrats to the show organizers. There were lots of vendors there with games, mods, parts, etc.
The VIP room was awesome. Great idea and I enjoyed being in there. Lots of great people to share stories with - friends and new friends.
There were a lot of new games like TNA, Houdini, Iron Maiden and JJPOTC. Houdini and JJPOTC were favorites.
Looking forward to next year! Also a big thank you to Automated Services/Pinballs.com for supporting the MA community via The 200 Foundation by auctioning off an GOTG Pro.
Quoted from 1974DeltaQueen:PM me I got you a signed poster by Paul Faris himself, GREAT GUY ! need your address I’ll find a shipping tube. Also I got a previous year poster I can include it , they were free.

Sorry if this has been covered already, but will any of the seminars be archived (or are they viewable anywhere)?

I heard they will be uploaded to the youtube channel.
This looks like it:
Great John Borg story with ties to this show. I only like EM's, I'm and old school guy, but I appreciate the hobby and all who make it awesome. I was on a flight from O'Hare to DFW for the TPF. My carry on was a few rows back, so I asked the guy under my bag if he could pass it to me. Real nice guy, and then I got to talking to him while waiting for my ride on the curb. I showed him a video of all my pins set up. I pretty much knew who he was but I am not the type to bother guys like him, I give them space.
Today I ran into him and said Remember me? As soon as I said the overhead compartment he remembered me. Not only that but as I am loading a pin into my truck John Borg helped me lift it in. What a real good dude, glad I was lucky enough to meet him.
Paul Faris was another real nice guy, I asked him which artist from the EM era he liked best, he explained to me that he really came on as a job, and really only followed the hobby from about 1978. His art was new and more into beasts, monsters, that sort of thing and the guys who did EM's were getting phased out. I got a few interesting tidbits about the pinball industry. His job was to create art, as long as he got paid, he was good. A lot of the games Paul did the art for he used his family. He predominantly used his daughter and his son. Certain actors and actresses would not license themselves out like Michael J. Fox, and Julia Roberts so Paul had to use other people. His daughter was a ballerina with a great figure and his son was a wrestler with a toned physique. His wife was also a model at one time and a real looker, so his family is on a lot of the games that you SS guys collect.
Quoted from brainmegaphone:I’m very glad I got to play a Total Nuclear Annihilation. I concluded I don’t understand the hype but was thrilled to finally play one.
We shot some great video of Bowen trying to destroy all 9 reactors. Lets' just say that much hilarity ensued. Check our YouTube channel for 2018 postings, and you may understand the hype a little more.

Thanks Dave! I will. I do think part of it is having a hard time hearing a game and learning rules in the environment of a loud show with people in line behind you...
Quoted from Multiballmaniac1:Great show. Short guy in sanctum t shirt near tournament area was rude.
Are you referencing me? I’m the short guy running the sanctum and the tournament. I had a Sanctum shirt Thursday and Friday I think. If it was me I’m baffled as to why you would of thought I was rude? Anyone who knows me, knows I pour my heart into this community for the sake of the love of it and all the great people.
Some quick gameplay footage of the Lost in Space re-theme. I really liked the robot topper with the blinking lights. The footage doesn't do it justice.
For those of you who could not attend but wanted the show posters, I have a couple sets of show posters, the Faris one is signed in the lower right corner. Can ship in a priority mail Tri-box, just cover shipping and the $2 per poster I paid at the merchandise booth. Shoot me a PM.

First note was our TNA charity side tournament going to the Andrea Ritz Clinics in Paraguay (https://www.facebook.com/paraguayclinics/)
We raised 260$ with the help of our friend Holly Danowski who matched what we raised with her foundation The Jane D Weiss Family Foundation.
The winner was Steve Bowden who managed to destroy 6 reactors on his own beating out even his own 4 player Co-Op team.
And in our main event we had a repeat champion Eric Stone. The full finals bracket can be seen here at challonge.com/pintastic2018 Most of these head to head matches went to the full 5 games. It was a very entertaining finals to watch. The whole finals with commentary can be seen here. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1Ds6xHELn1ITIeNkPvLO4FvdjoTLA2RQ

I’m gonna jump in the tourney next year, so make sure the trophy is nice and shiny. If Levi can post 7th, I can surely win.
Regarding the side tournament on Total Nuclear Annihilation, James wrote: The winner was Steve Bowden who managed to destroy 6 reactors on his own beating out even his own 4 player Co-Op team.
Bowen did better than that on Friday night. Video coverage is in the proverbial pipeline.

Awesome. It’s some sweet completion here. Lots of fun. We don’t skimp on the big cup for 1st!
The George Gomez presentation is now up on our YouTube channel. You can see how we used two cameras plus direct integration of the slides. More to come!

Thanks, very much appreciated!
I really like him.
He's as honest, straight and non PR-talk as he can be as a (diligent) manager at Stern.
The Paul Faris panel is now live on the Youtube page. Certain panels like Faul Faris panel had more technical glitches than others, I went to Pinburgh and there was all of a sudden a few tourneys after Pinburgh that I went to delaying it. There are not too many left for '18. In this panel you can also see a never before seen Batman: Returns alternate backglass.
Hey all - I keep forgetting to ask this here, but have finally remembered while in front of a computer...somebody had a nice Rollergames at Pintastic this year, and I was hoping to get in touch with the owner, as he had a very nice righthand plastic (one which is almost always broken) on his game, and I wanted to find out where it came from. Anybody know whose game that was?
