I’ve been happy with just adding three spots in. Two at each sling and one at upper right flipper.

Yes, I use cool white. The ones on this game are using Comet's spotlight kit with opmax on the slings and their 4SMD no lens on the upper. But I have used the 4SMD on all on others. But should give you the same effect with sunlights in a warmer hue.
