Pinsound worth the upgrade for a “non-music” pin?!

Hey all! I was considering adding a Pinsound setup to my FT and was curious if it’s “worth” the upgrade to a pin such as this that doesn’t feature a music based soundtrack? I’ve seen the remixes that have been done to similar pins such as HS2 and they are amazing although it seems most really get their bang for their buck on newer soundtrack based machines? Any and all feedback or advice would be great!

Thanks!

I have not played a FT with a Pinsound board but Getaway is great with it. It is a must have for anyone with a Getaway pin.

FT may not be a great candidate for a Pinsound unless you're willing to do a custom mix yourself (or maybe pay somebody to do one). The thing with the music pins and the themed pins is that they have movies/music/etc to pull callouts and SFX from, and FT is a unique theme, so it doesn't have much else happening. You will get the benefit of being able to dial in your bass and treble and cab and backbox mix very precisely, which is a great thing - but you may not feel you're getting your $400 worth of it. IMO unless there's a custom mix I'm not aware of, I'd spring for the FF speaker upgrades
