I use the Pinnovator stuff to connect my wpc's to a common self powered sub. You can connect up to 4 machines to a single sub. And adjust each separately.

General illumination, those are the lights that stay on all the time. You have them on and above the slingshots. Its called color blmbing or cloud puking, its horrible, but whatever you like is up to you.
I mean I wouldn't pay the monies but plenty of people do. It will sound better for sure, hundreds better is the question
