Installing Pinsound board in WPC89 with Pinball pro speakers that have an external volume control. Any specifics for doing this with the 2.1 stereo wiring kit from Pinsound? It looks fairly straightforward, I'm just not a fan of "oops" when it involves 300 dollars.

I have to give a big thumbs up on their service. Had a pinsound still NIB from a purchase a year ago. Tried in 3 games and it wouldn't recognize the usb. Contacted them and we tried troubleshooting it first. It appeared to be a hardware problem, I shipped it back and they shipped a new one to me, which I had a week and half later. Included a 2.1 harness to cover some shipping too. No hesitation at all to back their product. Nice to see that instead of being told "too bad". Will be getting a couple more for sure.

Installed in IJ 93, and DH now. IJ is easily the best addition. DH it adds a lot of depth to the excellent sound track. My TZ has a car amp and speakers already, but I think I'll turf the car amp and so this one next. Great product when wired in for 2.1 sound.

Much quicker to convert the files with their program to the USB. Also loving the CFTBL files! So much better sound. Thanks to all who create files for this platform on their time.

For 20 bucks and some solder, get the 2.1 harness. Especially for pre DCS

Is Pinsound or sound board repair the only option for a Whitewater?

No, there probably is a factory style, but it's so much better sounding with the Pinsound. Might be an extra 100 or so for the pinsound at most too. I have mine in my WH20, and would never go back. It's clear, a lot of bass and they just fixed the whirlpool sound file. Any pre DCS game benefits from this.
