I have a Batman Forever which has had brutal hum through the pin speakers while connected to the Pinsound (original Edition) even with the Stereo 2.1 speaker cable/harness from Pinsound. I have also had the sound cut-out with flipping likely since the beginning and have been trying to identify the root cause all of this time, while using the speakers, it is not an issue with the the headphone/line-out but. This morning I replaced the main 8 capacitors on the 520-5047-03 power supply and still have the issue. I started looking online again for more troubleshooting ideas and today is the first time that I see that Pinsound actually has a harness kit for Data East pins which 'eliminate the audio cut-outs while flipping'. Not sure how long this has been out but it sounds like my exact audio/flipper issue. I will order it and hope that it actually resolves the audio cut-outs.
Regarding the hum, does anyone know if there is an easy way to drive the internal speakers through the line-out on the Pinsound instead of using the 2.1 stereo speaker cable harness from Pinsound?
Thanks.
