Haha I already beat you guys to the punch! AND found some pins.
Quoted from Erik:How'd you do at the championships?
5-2
Basically lost a close match vs a top Japanese player named Momochi, won 5 straight against other people, then lost a close match to a top Midwest Zangief player from Minnesota...There were 1500+ entrants so that puts me in the 100-150 range overall.
Did you finish Earthshaker? I vote Elvira next. She has a bad case of the 'shrooms (mushrooming left flipper).
When I start a 4 player game on Baywatch it creates 2 teams and sets up a 2v2 game. Is there any way to turn this off and make a normal 1v1v1v1 game instead of 2v2? I can't use the tournament button in PinMAME so I'm going to have to figure out what that does on the actual game tomorrow.

If I remember from the tournament where we played Baywatch this was the default behavior but it still showed everyone's individual score.
Short of that, no idea other than maybe it's a setting and a factory reset would clear it?
I do miss this game. One of the best bang for the buck pins out there IMO.
Well it still displays the individual scores but I'm not sure if individual players could enter their own scores if they make the leaderboards. If you're in Lebanon the game is on location at Bonker's Pizza...
Lethal Weapon 3 is at Smitty's Bar and Grill in Lebanon. One of you guys needs to come down here and check these places out. We're on a pin fixing streak and slowly getting more stuff out there.
I don't think I've ever played Lethal Weapon 3 (nor seen any of the movies). Guess I better road trip it out to Lebanon soon.
mystic, sorry to keep bugging you with this but I turned on extra ball buy-in on Baywatch but do you know how to actually buy in? The buy-in button is not lit during gameplay and I'm not asked to buy in at the end of the game.
Ok, so.....here is the latest:
Huntsville had a soft opening yesterday only for $5 free play...Everyone enjoyed it and the place did well. We still have 3 games to fix (non pins) and the plan is to open next Friday up there which by all means is happening.
Antioch...
They won't have the floors ready and all the building stuff up to code until at LEAST Mid September.
Because of that we are moving the pinballs, console setups, console SALES, and Japanese machines to (I think) 5346 Hickory Hollow Pkwy in the same shopping center with 7,000 sq feet. It seems like a better location in the short term anyway and we plan on OPENING July 24 (Tuesday for Fight Night) The location is to the LEFT of the new barber shop and we plan on moving stuff in this Tuesday so expect the pins to be ready for you guys....we aren't moving any of the arcades in unless we have an abundance of people starting to come in so its strictly a game store/pinball hall/fight night place for now.....
Great news on the opening. Guess I need to finish up earthshaker now that I'm back from
the beach.
Crash, I always had it on free play and it gave the option to "buy-in" after the last ball. You just hit the button and it starts another ball. Just like no fear.
wow 7000 sq ft is a nice arcade! I'll be there on the 28th if I can!
What is fight night? An MMA event or something for the street fighter games crowd?
I went back to Chuck E. Cheese today and they have shopped out their Pirates of the Caribbean. It really needed it. Rebuilt the flippers and I can actually make the left spinner ramp consistently now. The only big issue left is the display, it's gotten a lot worse since I was there last a few months ago. Playfield looks great. The bulbs are all new and no blackening.
And look what I got for breaking 40 million... a guy was playing and he had 30 something million, he walked away on ball 3. Jackpots were lit and I jumped on those, he actually got all the way to Fight Davy Jones and I played that. Got to 77 million in the end and doubled the ticket value to 80... lol!
Nice, glad it's working well! I'll have to try that place sometime. Maybe after the next GG gathering I can hit CEC for some mediocre pizza and Pirates.
Save those tickets! 3 or 4 more games like that and you can maybe get a stick of gum or a plastic whistle!
The Murfreesboro one in Stones River mall used to have a Roller Coaster Tycoon but it hasn't had a pin in months. Not sure about the Franklin location, it might still have its RCT.

This is just a temporary location then? Are all of the pins previously in the mall going here? I saw at least a dozen large campers in the Global Market parking lot as well as some coming soon signs. Does the car salesman own those? What are they being used for, future merchants' stock? Does he really have that many contracts already? By barber shop do you mean that beauty salon? It sounds like you have a double-wide place if it's that kind of size. Any idea on the dimensions?
July 28 sounds like a good meet-up date. I'll ask Woody if he can make it.
Quoted from Erik:mediocre pizza
What are you talking about? That's some of the best pizza I've ever had. Add some pepper and it makes it really good.
Quoted from Erik:Nice, glad it's working well! I'll have to try that place sometime. Maybe after the next GG gathering I can hit CEC for some mediocre pizza and Pirates.
Picnic Pizza is about 1.5 miles away. People can be pretty territorial about pizza, but IMO this is the best around. It's the same family that had the pizza place in Hickory Hollow back when it was the Gold Mine. It's my pregame stop before hitting the arcade. Feel free to join me if you make it on the 28th.
There is a POTC at Toots in Murfreesboro that is in decent shape and has no tilt. Best 50 cents you'll spend all day.
nice, I haven't been to picnic. thanks for the tip! And now I know your secret to tournament winnings!
Crash I'm just messin with ya

I can't answer all those questions.
There is a barber shop in that strip mall, not to be confused with Lien Nails.
It's 7,000 sq feet but again, i am not putting the whole place there, just pins and Japanese stuff and console stuff to buy/sell.
Erik: Fight Night is basically just training for the Street Fighter/King of FIghters crowd
The manager at CEC happens to like pinball and she was talking about the other locations around here not keeping their pins in good shape. So that has a lot to do with it.
Also, the Huntsville location is on the map. Games:

(Bally, 1992)

I'm going to miss a few of those but we'll have more access to the old museum pins now. Back to the Future is cool as well as all the others. Ready to check out Terminator 2 now that it's cleaned up.

Crashdance, the only ones in Huntsville are listed above, not sure where you got the idea those other games were in Huntsville....
Radical is with Erik, lol
Oh, only those seven? Whoever added the Huntsville map location listed 20 different games. Ok, that's better then. Gonna miss Fish Tales...
Any idea on what pins will be in Antioch? Old mall and museum stuff minus Fish Tales, Radical, and the games at Hunstville?
The stuff I had minus Fish Tales and what is in Huntsville. That is what is in Antioch but for now Radical, Earthshaker, and Terminator aren't there at the moment. Everything else is.
In other news, the new Lebanon High School's grand opening was yesterday. I got to meet my old teachers and some of my old classmates, great visit. Even got to meet the mayor and director of schools (again). That building is probably bigger than Hickory Hollow Mall. It's crazy.
Quoted from Erik:hmm trying again...
Only 55 million?
Seriously though, congrats on the new machine. That's a fun one.
Yeah sadly that was my best game for a while. I got the pinball yips!
Would you believe it threw the rubber disc off the recognizer after about 10 games. gah!
Police Force sure is a looker... grime everywhere, dried out rubbers, playfield wear, and a busted center ramp. I'm eager to break it down and shop it, got a new X-Pin PSU on order and it should come in by the end of the week!
I'll get several before pics tomorrow. Might start breaking it down since all that's not working is the displays but that's because the PSU isn't putting out +100v.
All done except some minor issues:
Yellow pop bumper light no lighty
Red pop bumper needs to be adjusted
Blue rubber square at the top metal wireform needs replaced
Sun flasher still doesn't work
Upper GI is blowing a fuse I need to track down the short
"30" light is intermittent due to an under pf board connector
Need to wax it and put the glass on
Nice! Is the Earthshaker going into Antioch 2.0? I always enjoyed Police Force. Sys11s are so cool. Can you get a replacement for that ramp?
Yeah Marco sells them for $113. That would be over $200 into this project already but it's so busted up I'm afraid it's just going to hang balls and look ugly, discouraging players. We might just bite the bullet and buy it... maybe we can replace the other one some day if it makes enough money on route.
