I have pretty significant ADHD and I think that the gratification of achieving at something that rewards you for practice but also has a level of instant gratification really hits some of my emotional needs. I have a lot of trouble doing undesirable tasks and procrastinate badly, but with pinball it’s just like constant reward and payoff. I can stand at a single game and not get bored for hours.
