The new Imperial Triumpant album is spectacular but be sure to not miss the Merkurius Gilded, which features a solo by (smooth-jazz legend) Kenneth Gorelick and his son Max Gorelick.
also the whole new Zeal & Ardor album is fricking GOLD.
It's an incredible "crossover" album. If you want to get your bar rock friends into more death metaly aesthetics...
Quoted from Gryszzz:AINT GONNA GET MYSELF KILLED
But I did grab tickets for the Cincinnati show Nov 4th FUCK YEAHHH[quoted image]
Dallas Show \m/
But GOTDAMN. For a $40 ticket I paid $60.
50% bullshit fees man FUCK TICKET MASTER AND ALL THEIR SAGGY TITTED MOTHERS TOO
Quoted from Gryszzz:Deicide tomorrow fuckin HYPED
Caught the last show of the Deicide tour in Florida. As usual, the OG Florida DM bands end their tours in Florida and by that time there are NO shirts.
Good show nonetheless.
Quoted from Gryszzz:These mf's age like fine wine
Damn they are so good. Haven't listened to them for a few months
Was finally able to see Krisiun play live. I've been wanting to check them out for years, but they were hardly ever in my area, and the limited times they were, the timing was off.
They just ripped. Always impressed with the death metal bands with only 3 members and how much energy they can create.
The Demiricous/Obscene 3 city tour got cancelled. I was ready for a 3 day run let's fuckin TRY THIS AGAIN BOYS
I got to see CYNIC live in Seattle in 2008 and
a DEATH tribute concert in Orlando FL in 2012.
Oh yeah and Athiest live in 2011 I believe.

I'd got to Atlanta show if I can find extra reasons to go...
Quoted from Gryszzz:Found Krisiun in this thread, thanks to a Pinsider. Would love to see em live.
Meanwhile, in Indy...

Good lineup.
Seeing Apostle of Solitude on there makes me wonder whatever happened to Karl Simon's band Wretch? Any info?
Quoted from Gryszzz:Man for the price point this is spot on. Lemmy know when you have one for sale.
Gryszzz I sent you a PM but not sure you saw. If you want to follow further. If you see where it's going and want to be on the direct email list for purchasing info in future: [email protected]

Internal conflict. Couple those dudes joined Gates of Slumber, whom back in the Iron Bob Fouts days ruled. I couldn't make this show. My kid was in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day parade on ABC
We’re seeing Black Label Society in Chicago January 29th. It’s not thrash, but definitely black or doom metal.
I’d love to see Shadows Fall again and one of my latest favorites is Type O Negative despite me discovering it dozens of years late. Would be great to have a doom metal pin other than Rob Zombies.

Dude I am dying to see them.
Sanguisugabogg is from Columbus OH. Not even mentioning all the incredible IN bands currently.
Midwest has this death metal shit ON LOCK right now
Quoted from Gryszzz:Huge, brutal pit, as always. Was 3 rows from stage whole show.
We got Stripped, Raped, and Strangled FUCK YEAH
Immolation rocked my nuts off.

Few years back was able to have a couple beers with CC in their tour bus and backstage too. Normal and chill were very nice (offered me their beer). Met Karl with Nile too.
Edit...actually just found a pic I'm in the middle

Kids blew my mind when I saw em front row 4 years ago[quoted image]
This lineup, or most of it, is playing in Toledo the following night. Myself and a friend are toying with the idea of checking it out. It's more to his taste than mine, but I like the venue a bunch. Don't think I've heard any of the bands.

Lol...buckle up buttercup. There will be blood, literally. The 1st dipshit kid that hits me with a dumb fuck spin kick will be at the orthodontist the next day. Looking forward to it ha.

Man I've been trying to find their demo cd for years, but I just can't bring myself to pay $50 for it. Saw them in Joliet IL with Incantation and that show blew my hair back. Karl is a fuckin genius.
