Pinside should be sensibly moderated. There's a written set of well thought out, common sense guidelines that everyone has access to and agreed to when joining. If you don't like the guidelines feel free to exit stage right.
Oh, and if your feelings get hurt and you feel a need to call others snowflakes because they are critical of your Neanderthal behavior, look in the mirror. Whose the snowflake?
Also of note, I enjoy the sharp sarcastic intelligent banter on Pinside. I've yet to be offended or put off. I even had one guy tell me my GI lighting "looked like shit" just after advising me on how to fix a problem. LOL. ...did not bother me in the least, and I truly appreciated his assistance. I respect and sometimes find humor in directness.
(Of note: Thankfully I previewed this prior to posting. Predictive typing had caused "...appreciated his assistance." to read "...appreciated his ass." No one wants to be the butt of the joke.)
