I see Pinside has instituted a seller fee attached to selling games. My question, how does one determine how a game was sold, i.e., what ad led to the actual selling of a game? There are several avenues to sell, Pinside, ebay, Craigslist, Mr. Pinball. When I put a game for sale, I typically post on Pinside, Craigslist and Mr. Pinball. If my game sells from the Craigslist ad, am I still expected to pay the selling fee on Pinside? Sometimes you get a very generic response. How do you determine which ad they responded to?

You could just ask the buyer.

I didnt see the amount you get charged. Can you point me in that direction?

I just didn't put any other contact info on here. If they contacted me off pinside, they saw it somewhere else. If I got a PM here and it sold to that person...I gave pinside money.

If the machines sells outside of Pinside then you are not expected to pay a fee. Sadly I see people who sold them on here mark the machine as being sold outside of Pinside to avoid paying a fee. Not surprised though since this hobby is full of cheapskates. Nobody can force you to pay even if it sells on here however it is a nice gesture if Pinside helped you find the buyer.

I have not been on pinside much lately but have started to dig through some spare parts to sell. I will make a donation to pinside when something sells as I have not made one in a while.
I have looked for some info on selling fee's that were introduced a while back but did not find anything specific. What are the selling fee's on pinside? Do they apply to parts or just machines?

    Thanks Ed
