Post your New Years resolutions here.....

I resolve to tilt all my questionable posts (of which I seem to post many)...
I resolve to spend a little extra pinside time to help with tech questions instead 99% of my time on the fun threads....
I resolve to eat a little bit more whole foods/and fresh veggies

    #2 5 years ago

I resolve to read your tilted posts

    #3 5 years ago

I resolve to listen to my wife and stop spending so much money on my pinball hobby .

    #4 5 years ago

I resolve to stop preordering pins!!! (unless it's something really really cool)

    #5 5 years ago

I resolve to obtain an STTNG, or a Shadow. Maybe both. Oh, and also to drink more beer.

    #6 5 years ago

I resolve to stop buying pins..........WHO SAID THAT!!

I 2nd that, regardless of how cool it is. No more being the bank for new pin makers.

I resolve not to fall asleep at the computer againggckndnjjckekdkk

I resolve to FINALLY rebuild a pop bumper, something I have been procrastinating about.

I resolve to let no low priced High Speed come between me and a Rollergames.

    #10 5 years ago

I resolve to finish at least *one* of my project pins, lol

    #11 5 years ago

I resolve to stick with four pins, and I won't drink alcohol in January

    #12 5 years ago

not to buy any more projects until the ones I already own are working

    #13 5 years ago

I resolve to not pretend I'm not going to do all the things that you guys won't be able to do either.

I will get my Predator, or I will get a refund and put that towards my credit card debt that I'm trying hard to pay off this year.

I will be happy with what I have. I not buy any pins in 2015, and instead will work on getting the ones that I have in the best shape they can be. I will learn to rebuild flippers and do so on all my games that need it.

JP is still in pieces and hasn't worked right since June despite new some new parts, so I will work on finding the issue and completely fixing it. I will also help my mom diagnose her TAF flipper that hasn't worked properly and get that running 100% for her somehow.

I will actually PLAY my machines instead of just looking at them. And will try to have more friends over on a regular basis to play.

I will attend Southern Fried Pinball Expo this year if at all possible, and hopefully for more than just one afternoon. And I will do it to have fun and play pinball, not to scout out games for sale and try to bring something home.

I will buy another pinball machine or two. Having only one machine for about 6months now is sad and wrong...

    #16 5 years ago

Resolutions are bunk. Set goals. Goals include a meaningful measure, and are realistic and achievable. Write them down, look at them frequently, and track your progress!

Not get involved in the NEW PIN hype threads.

Buy a NIB (Not a pre-order) or HUO Stern pinball in 2015.

Shrink my pinball expenditure budget. (Less shows, events, leagues and tourneys)

    Start learning to repair EM's.

*Put more games out on location for all to enjoy.

You seem to always fluctuate between 1-5. I agree you need more!

I second this. Got my first one in May of 2014, but I am itchy for #2. Can't wait to find a deal and lay down my cash to get another one. I am continually preaching patience to myself because I have specific ideas about what I want and I need to try to wait until I find one of the tables I covet. Trying to be calm until I have something in my sights that meets my criteria (70s EM through very early 80s SS with a decent playfield and plastics).

    Happy New Year, everyone!

I will spend less time on Pinside and more time actually playing my games.

I will attend CAX after skipping it last year.

I will (probably) sell off my EMs and buy one more machine with the proceeds.

I resolve to keep on doing what I have been doing.

    #22 5 years ago

    1) I will move overseas.
    2) I will beat the Final Battle on The Shadow before I have to sell it due to point 1.
    3) After completing point 1, I will buy a LOTR.

Blow all disposable income on nib pins and high end craft beer...(getting an early start as you can see)...

    In 2015 I
    Will play in more competitions
Keep my collection at 4 pins
    Trade one of my pins
    Constructively contribute to pinside

*Do up my TSPP so it looks as awesome as it deserves to be!!
*Tear down my Getaway and get the playfield clear coated so it plays super quick, also re-decal the cabinet (first time re-decaling).
*Get the tiny glitches out of my WWF Royal rumble so it plays at 100%.
*Add one more machine to the line up..

Okay, just completed #2. Time to sell the game and get out of this dump.
