Quoted from Frippertron:

Atrial Fibrillation for awhile now, had pretty bad symptoms including TIA'S/mini strokes until I started taking the blood thinner Eliquis. Well he either wants me to go for a cardioversion or a catheter ablation to correct the problem. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Yah my wife had this done a couple of years back for SVT. It sucked and unfortunately her issue has returned. Basically, the heart finds new electrical paths after the ablation. So she will have to get it done again at some point (most likely). Right now she tries to do manual resets and the last time we had to take a trip to the ER to get a chemical reset. Its pretty scary when she gets an episode.
