I was trying to send a link to a fellow pinsider through PM, and it kept truncating it.

i was sending him this URL:
    https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/new-sttng-mod-functional-shuttlecraft-uss-rio-grande

but Pinside Mail kept shortening it to this:
    /pinball/forum/topic/new-sttng-mod-functional-shuttlecraft-uss-rio-grande

    and the link wasn't clickable.

Same happened to me.....I simply got rid of the "https://www." part....

The recipient had to copy & paste the link.

Not sure if this is a pinside glitch or done purposely?

    It's a glitch, I'm working on a fix!

Won't let you reply to PM via email anymore either.

Ok, links in PM should work properly again.

    Quoted from TKDalumni:

Won't let you reply to PM via email anymore either.

Sounds like a different issue. Are you sure you're not replying to a closed/deleted PM thread?

If that's not the case, please forward the e-mail to which you were replying to webmaster at pinside dot com. Then I can investigate the cause of the issue.

There was indeed an issue with PM replies via e-mail not being processed. I have been working on this today and the issue should be fixed now.
