IMO, Karma points would ideally only be awarded if you help someone.
That could be either tech advice, answering a question of where to find a certain part, measuring something for someone, providing a pic to help someone, etc.
Violate Pinside rules, lose Karma points.
Might cut down on the people who will say anything knowing whatever they say (everything from robotic one-word answers in FS posts to full-blown alcohol-fueled keyboard-commando arguments), is ultimately good for their point totals.
