I dig it. Old, cheap, but sounds great to your ears.

You forgot to specify David Lee Roth or Sammy Hagar.

AVH7401 I have to side with you on DLR. I checked out after I heard the first Sammy album.

I like to mix old and new things. I'm very far from being a purist of any kind.
Source: stream from a home server through a Kodi player through a Musical Fidelity DAC
Amplification: PrimaLuna tube amplifier, with some NOS tubes and modern tubes (there's that old and new again)
Speakers: Definitive Technology with amplified bass drivers

Wow, my cables are a mess. I really need to re-wire everything.

McIntosh - can't tell if it was made in the 1970's or 1990's, but it's awesome no matter.

I became a convert to digital as soon as the first CD player was available, but I've heard a proper vinyl setup a few times and I can understand the appeal. One of these days, I will have to get a proper vinyl setup of my own.
