Heh, how about Pinball Women's Club? My daughter is a girl, but I prefer woman.
I actually got heavily in to pinball thanks to my daughter: I was unable to be an event promoter any more so I needed a new hobby I could do at home (that didn't involve a computer,) so I bought a pinball machine. I have been documenting everything about the last 2.5 years at my blog http://pinballnovice.blogspot.ca/
I've always loved pinball. I had no money growing up, but knew that if I wandered arcades I could find abandoned credits on pinball machines when people walked away before the Match.
I am very much in to feminism, the political process, community organizing, pinball, and music, and tend to combine all of these things in various ways.
I founded Pinball Women Ottawa over a year ago and we have been growing the group of women playing pinball in this city, like so many others are doing in other cities. (shout out to Pinball Vixens Toronto, who have the greatest mission statement and inclusion policy EVER.)
I have 4 pinball machines in our back room. No room for any more. But, the latest machine (Apollo 13) is also 21st machine down there over the last 2.5 years. I have developed a reputation for getting machines playing really well, and have a lineup of people wanting to lend me machines for months at a time, allowing me to fix them and play them, and then move on to the next. My favourite machine is always the next game that I have yet to play and tinker with.
Before pinball, I didn't really know how an electric screwdriver worked. Now I have a mini workshop and a soldering iron.
My current lineup is a MAME setup, Corvette, Apollo 13, Sinbad, and Alien Poker.
I also love the vintage artwork and have assembled a collection of 30 original marquees, 5 backglasses, and 5 playfields.

I love the hyperdensity of it all!
