Anyone else have a house full of four legged family members? We have a couple, but the day job (veterinarian) keeps me in contact with all shapes and sizes.

Ive attached a picture of Stu guarding his favorite machine -- he is a corgi mix that we found at the shelter a couple years ago.

Any pictures or stories are welcomed!

I had seen the cats and pinballs topic, had not picked up on the dog topic though.
Apologies for redundancy, not trying to reinvent the wheel.
Thought a topic for all critters might be interesting; the ducks did not fit into either category.

No, I agree, and here is one that does not fit the Pinball topic, but crossed the feathers and felines topic together...
I had posted this under the Bad Cats thread even thought there is no Pinball machine in the image.

Been awhile since Ive ID'd my fish. . . is that a type of Gourami? Almost has the head of a Salmon!! Nice!

    #7 2 years ago

It is an Arrowanna fish that I got in China.

It does in fact live with a large Gourami fish.

    Very nice.
    Great fish photography!

Any issues getting a fish thru customs? They give you a heck of a time if you have an orange with you in the US.

PS vid1900 -- Big fan of all your restoration work, great inspiration!

I have always (until now) had pets of all kinds. Besides the usual dogs cats and fish we have had a monkey an ocelot and several others.

It's easier just to pack the fish in with gear that is being brought in with my boss.

At first I thought this was a thread for fur coats and the like. I was going to show off my coonskin cap.

I never did specify if the critters had to be viable or not. . .

Of our two cats, the black and white one loves walking on any pin or arcade you may be trying to play. Here's her debating if she can jump on the glass from where she's at. We're also trying to train our other household member who is still on 4 legs (well 2 arms and 2 legs) .

I'm "down to" 5 dogs. (I used to run a dog rescue out of my house and had 11 of my own, and finally quit after a parvo outbreak contaminated the house and broke my bank account.) We occasionally foster hard-to-place pups, but mine are all rescues with tough backstories and sometimes it's hard for them to be normal enough to deal with new things all the time, so we're taking a dog break for a bit.

BUT... that hasn't seemed to stop me elsewhere. I've got a peach front conure, parakeet, English budgie, hamster with the hamster version of Downs, random fish, 4 Easter Egger chickens, 3 Jumbo cotournix quail, 1 pharaoh quail, and 24 cotournix eggs in an incubator going on lock-down tonight so hopefully I'll have some little popcorn-size babies later this week.

In case anyone wants to see what popped out of those little eggs.
