Quoted from sohchx:

Excellent trade!! I've always wanted a late 70's to mid eighties turbo 911 but with four kids I've got two years left until they go off to college so the four door has to stay until then. Also doesn't help that the prices on them are through the roof and rising.

Yes, prices on the air cooled are skyrocketing. ... ours is a 2009, 3.2L and yes, it coincides with 2 college graduations

Autocross a few weekends ago. My best time was actually with my wife in the car on my very last run.

Cheers! fellow P car owner.
mine is in the avatar.

Very cool! Year, model?

Quoted from NJGecko:

2017 A4 with all of the goodies.
Have a nice little tune on it and this bad boy is all wheel drive and pushing almost 400 horsepower, but I can still get 30+ mpg!

Love the Audi's - below is my daily driver (first pic I took right after washing and putting her away in the garage) and below that is my brides S5. Pic of her Volcano Red S5 is a trip we took with my buddy who has a silver S5

Somehow I got the slower car BUT, I gotta tell you, I absolutely LOVE the A7

2 new cars added to the household since last posting. Wife traded her Audi S5 for a red Macan S in May of this year ... and I also bought her a little Z4 for Christmas. She was extra good to me this past year as I went through some major health issues.
All is good now, and I wanted to surprise her with something special!

I'm so excited because I will be driving again.

Congrats on the recovery. 2017 was a similar year for me and getting back behind the wheel is awesome!! Best of luck moving forward

Lots of vehicle changes here since last post!
Porsche 911 Carrera S is sold
Bought an older Panamera then sold it (miss it)
Bought a new Jeep Gladiator and hated it - traded for a new Ram 1500 Limited (love)
Wife bought an Audi TT Roadster (loves)
Lastly, I bought an Audi S5 put stupid money into it: Bilsteins, Wheels, APR tune, AWE exhaust, carbon fiber, etc. (fun car)

Quoted from pinmister:

Nice! The color on that jeep is stunning. I used to be a Dodge Ram guy-had four of them. Then had the engine(HEMI) blow up with 20k miles on it. The dealer gave me a hard time with the whole engine replacement process. Right after I picked it up I drove to the Toyota dealership to trade it in. Funny how a particular manufacturer can put a bad taste in your mouth. The new Rams look completely different and I have heard good things. Why did you not like the Jeep? A friend of mine just got the new Bronco and was surprised/disappointed that it does not have power seats.

Almost everything … ugh
It looked beautiful, but:
Terrible steering - hard to keep in on the road (constant steering inputs needed)
No power (at all)
Poor quality interior
Terrible seat comfort (had to buy aftermarket seat lifts)
Missing some basics (like a simple left foot rest)
Aging and clunky to use electronics
Loud inside

We still own a Sahara Limited but no way would I drive it every day

Been on a search for a 718 Spyder for a few months now and finally found one in Chicago, w/just 5k miles
It just came in via freight in a covered transport this past Saturday and I’ve only got 10 miles on it but holy cow!
It’s everything they say it would be - precise, raw, fast, tight … looking forward to some warm and sunny weather to really give her a workout
4.0ltr, 414hp, 8,000 red line, carbon buckets … it makes the 911 I sold last year feel like a family car in comparison
Even the PDK is significantly more precise in shifts vs the ‘09 Carrera S
My over axle GPF delete pipes just arrived so those will go on next week - needs a little more “volume” in the low/mid RPMs, but at 6-8k it a glorious roar!

Quoted from Meegis:

This is my dad's.
[quoted image]

Love the GT4 and other than the top and the incredible downforce of that huge wing, same exact engine, suspension and undercarriage
GT4 will do a bit better on track due to downforce and the body is more rigid than the open top Spyder
Beautiful car BTW and it looks like he dropped some coin on a CF hood or is that paint?

Congrats-it looks super minty and the color really pops-looks stunning!
I may need to visit the 'Pinball Loft' someday

Stop by! Lots of Pinball fun here

That's one hot looking car. Nice find.

Thanks! Not had time in the turns yet, but the US129 Dragon is literally a few minutes away - come on warm weather!

Quoted from Brainiac:

Such a beauty! I love Pcars, and that is the best looking one of them all. Voodoo blue?

Shark Blue

Quoted from Meegis:

Looks like shark Blue to me

Nailed it

Here's a picture at delivery and another of the Max Jax 7k 2 post lift I just installed in my pole barn
That's my 4300# Audi S5 up in the air, so the Spyder will be an easy lift @ 3400#
First job will be to bolt on the new Fabspeed OAP pipes

Quoted from Atari_Daze:

Just finished building my custom 10" box for the A3. Powered by a Kicker 46CXA8001T, I must say it sounds (and feels) great.
Bass knob uses an ebay sourced Audi mirror knob to appear "factory".

Nice work. Looks factory
