I was driving down the road the other day and saw a good looking blonde driving a really nice Challenger. I think I may have pinched a nerve starring over at the car/blonde. I thought it was a custom Challenger and later found out it is a stock vehicle.

lol yeah I can't deny the sexiness is greater with really any McLaren, but they don't like to have fun at the red lights around town anymore

Finally got my car back after 5 months!
Went with a smaller Texas speed stage 2 cam this time still put down 592 at the tire.
Motor made 728hp on the engine dyno

Oh completely, I wouldn't use my tesla to haul pins. I'd just go rent a uhaul van.
Now when I get my Cybertruck ... I might start hauling pins for fun 
OK here’s mine, I’ll try not to get too long winded. My 1967 Mustang Fastback, I’ve had this car for 35 years, this was my daily driver the year I graduated from high school. I blew up the original 289 I replaced it with a 302 and then about 6 years ago I installed a balanced and blueprinted 351 Cleveland 4V into it. The car has a T5 manual transmission now with a 411 posi in the rear, I have the original Toploader tranny put away. I took these pictures today when I removed the car from it’s storage capsule to drain the fuel, put fresh clear premium in it and run it up and down my driveway. I lost my driving privileges two years ago due to epilepsy so I have not driven it since except for on my driveway which luckily is a half mile long. This car is like a time machine, when I get in it after all these years it instantly takes me back to my late teenage years, it is an amazing thing. One other thing I have noticed is that every year I get this car out and it looks more beautiful and I look a little worse 
The pic of the car back in its bubble was the last pic I took today, every year I hope that next year will a better year for me and I will get to go cruise it again like old times.

Nice Mustang. I have to admit though. I couldn't help thinking you needed some floating packing peanuts to get the full snow globe effect. Best Christmas decoration ever.

You should get some period correct Oregon license plates for that thing. It really adds to the vintage look.
The plain dark blue with yellow lettering -- NOT the new repro "Pacific Wonderland" plates, the last year those were correct was 1963

So, I bought my dream car this year, or at least a version of it. 2005 Corvette. Problem is, I have no garage and I live in New England. I would like to at some point add a garage to the house, but that isn't happening any time soon, especially with the cost of lumber. My plan was to put up one of those cheap Harbor Freight/ Tractor Supply carports. I've had a couple of these over the years, and they last a couple years before tearing. I cleared a 20x20 section of the yard and had some milled asphalt laid down so it's nice and flat.
The issues I can see with these are:
Doesn't last long
Wouldn't protect well if a tree fell from a winter storm
Offers no protection from mice or other animals (my shed is overrun by mice and they love my lawn equipment)
I see they make them with better/thicker covers, but I'm still seeing the same complaints that they easily tear on the reviews. The cost with the thicker cover is also getting closer to the cost of a DIY steel building. Does anyone have experience with those?
Also, any tips for keeping the mice out? I saw an inflatable car cover here a few weeks ago that looked great and I think would keep them out. I would have to run a very long extension cord though, no power in the back yard.
Self storage unit is also an option, but I know once I get one of those I'll own it forever.

Right behind my shed is a cornfield. We get a ton of mice. I have my travel trailer parked next to my shed, and started using this about 6 months ago-

Haven't seen any signs of mice since I applied the initial application. It is safe for other animals, and has a nice minty smell during application.

This is part of my winter routine. I run a trickle charger out of it as well.
Have you looked into a car storage facility? A guy near me converted a warehouse into an indoor, climate controlled, parking lot. 24 hour access and he charges $150 per month.

That's a really good question!
I'm gonna guess, where he lives there is very little humidity in the fall/winter months to worry about.

It is not a controlled space. I put silica desiccant packs into the "bag" to absorb moisture in case any gets in.
Zero issues last year. One of my biggest concerns is rodents.

I keep my Mustang in a car capsule, my friends make fun of me for it but it takes care of moisture and condensation issues by constantly exchanging the air inside of it. One of the other benefits if you’re in a situation like I am living in the country is that it is rodent proof, also if something falls on or against your car it is protected. My car has been stored in one of these for more than 10 years, it has been worth it’s weight in gold!

So I was looking into the new Tundra as a potential next truck and found the timing may not be ideal right now. I love my Tacoma but have been fascinated by the turbo V-6 with 20 mpg being offered with the new generation Tundra(I love turbos). I called a couple dealers to inquire about pricing and availability and found that dealers cannot get enough allocation and are no longer offering any discounts. I purchase my vehicles through a military discount program and now those days seem to be gone for now. Supply and demand now dictates everything(just like pinball). One dealer said they may add a premium to the MSRP price because of demand? I realize it is the first year for new generation and we are experiencing shortages, but how long can this go on for? I am interested in the new Tundra but not sure I want to get bent over either-may have to wait this one out and stick with the Taco.

I have extreme confidence in Toyota's engineering team, they have been working on this platform for over six years and I am sure the testing has been extensive. The current Tundras have been known to run 300,000+ miles with little maintenance. I like the redesigned body as well, does not seem as wide and as large as the previous generation. I traded in my old Tundra for a Tacoma and now with the turbo-it has me wanting to check out Tundra once again.

Close - it's an Austin Healey Sprite, a Mk3 from 1966. This was an early example of "badge engineering". Cars were released under both Austin Healey as Sprites and MG as Midgets but are essentially identical. The grilles are different, mine has small squares, no badge the MG has vertical slats with badge. Badges and some trim items are different. I am missing the winged bonnet badge.
I’m looking for a weekend fun car before spring. If anyone wants to trade their late 60s to 70s car for a few pins, pm me. Doesn’t have to be a show piece but no projects.
