I have 3 Harley-davidson velo glide ultras that I converted into ebikes. And 1 more that will be converted. Also a fun ebike cafe racer called a Cheetah by Revi bikes. Really fun. The ebikes haul ass. And 2 bikes just for peddling. A pre war 1939 Ladies Dx Schwinn. Original except the rack. Paint is in great shape for age. My peddling is on a restored by Pedal Pusher (A legendary HEP like company that is now out of business) A 1951 3 speed Red Schwinn Phantom. The harley davidson converted ebikes are incredibly fun. Last picture is my harley bicycle down at the beach at Doheny. Great Acai bowls with fantastic views.

I had these 3 Schwinn stingray krates until March. The grey ghost krates were only made in 1971, with one of them the holy grail of krates. Only made in Dec 1971. These came with a disk brake. I then sold 2 really nice Schwinn phantom reproductions made in Ontario Ca. And the green 7 speed anniversary mens and the womens anniversary 7 speed.

Quoted from electricsquirrel:

Actually, if anybody can help me date this picture.
That's a Schwinn Hollywood or Fiesta in the window.
It's a color picture....when did that start?
My mom says 1957, but I think its later than that.
Thanks!!!!
Eric

Schwinn catalogs are all on line. The Collectable Antique Bicycle Exchange (Cabe) is like pinside. You could post that picture in the right category and start a thread. You will most likely find your answer and hear a story or two about the store. Awesome picture.

My latest conversion to e bike is a 1997 harley-davidson. Granddaughter and I rode to the beach for breakfast.

Quoted from locksmith:

Anyone selling a Schwinn Mantaray 1971 or 72.Throwing it out there even if it’s a long shot. [quoted image]

I would put a wanted ad on The Collectable Antique Bicycle Exchange (CABE). I recall seeing a few there. Prices are usually more reasonable there than anywhere except a lucky barn or shed find.

Harley Davidson tribute ebike. They made 325 of these for both North America and Europe. It's a tribute to their first motorcycle in 1903 which was named Serial No. 1.
