A mountain bike I built from a 22" Schwinn Continental frame, sometime in the very early eighties. I believe it was one of the first in our area.

Actually, if anybody can help me date this picture.

That's a Schwinn Hollywood or Fiesta in the window.
It's a color picture....when did that start?
My mom says 1957, but I think its later than that.

Thanks!!!!

For whatever reason, my dad decided he wanted to build a tandem. He designed and built a frame fixture, bought a bunch of chrome-moly tubing, got his tanks filled and went at it. This is the end result.
Picture was taken sometime in 1977. That's him with the bike!

I found something I've always wanted.
The mighty Bendix automatic two speed hub.
This thing is an engineering marvel!
