I have 3 Harley-davidson velo glide ultras that I converted into ebikes. And 1 more that will be converted. Also a fun ebike cafe racer called a Cheetah by Revi bikes. Really fun. The ebikes haul ass. And 2 bikes just for peddling. A pre war 1939 Ladies Dx Schwinn. Original except the rack. Paint is in great shape for age. My peddling is on a restored by Pedal Pusher (A legendary HEP like company that is now out of business) A 1951 3 speed Red Schwinn Phantom. The harley davidson converted ebikes are incredibly fun. Last picture is my harley bicycle down at the beach at Doheny. Great Acai bowls with fantastic views.

I am in the market for an electric mountain bike. I have my eye on a Cannondale, does anyone have any suggestions? I need a larger bike with suspension.

I'm a fan of the Cannondale brand, and my local excellent bike shop sells them, so that is a win-win for me. If I were buying an electric bike (which is a niche that is rapidly changing) I would heavily base my selection on the e-bike offerings of the store where it would be serviced. Similar to finding a mechanic you trust and asking what they recommend.

I had these 3 Schwinn stingray krates until March. The grey ghost krates were only made in 1971, with one of them the holy grail of krates. Only made in Dec 1971. These came with a disk brake. I then sold 2 really nice Schwinn phantom reproductions made in Ontario Ca. And the green 7 speed anniversary mens and the womens anniversary 7 speed.

I'm 45 and still ride my 3 Dyno Pro Compe's. I know I look ridiculous, but I love these bikes. Got my first Dyno when I was in 7th grade, and still own it.

Even though it is mostly carbon fiber it is still a little on the heavy side (as am I), but I don't recall exactly how much (probably around 17 lbs - I think original weight was around 19 lbs). I mainly did it for style and aero, not weight. Also, when I was really in shape and riding seriously, I learned that either I could eat less and loose a pound or two or I could spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars and shave an ounce or two off my bike. I decided just to loose the weight. 
Even still, I can hold my own on the flats, and excel at downhill with my extra mass. However, nobody has ever mistaken me as a climber.

Funny. That's actually the ground at a memorial park that's a common resting point on one of my standard routes.
Nice find. Got enough parts kicking around to make several bikes. Lucky to have had the Velodrome flea market swap meets nearby. Until they do those again, look at Craigslist. Wheels are expensive to ship.

Got a Haro F3 for tricks( I can still do a few). Teaching my daughter some things on it, they had Matt Wilhelm come to her school last year to do a presentation and she got interested in flatland freestyle.

Thanks, had a French Motobecane in the 70's and know these are different but still a good Bike. You wouldn't happen to be an Expert and recommend what size wheels to order? 70R?
Think it uses an 8 speed cassette, Shimano?

If the rest of the group matches the crankset (Ultegra) pictured then you should need a Shimano 9 speed cassette.
Max low tooth for that year Ultegra is 27.
11-27 would be the cassette ratio to shop for but you don’t have to get Ultegra.
Base level Shimano HG50 in a 12-25 range is relatively cheap and will work just fine.
Or if you can track down old stock Shimano 105 in 9 speed to get the 11-27.
Take a picture of the right shifter and I can confirm for you.
Does it actually shift?
Problem with shifters that old will be that the grease for the return spring hardens up and will need to be broken down with some T9 or clean streak before it will grab shift points again.
Wheel size is 700c.
Most wheels you get these days come with spacers to reduce down to 9.
New entry level pairs can be had for $75-$125.
Buying used is all over the map.
Just make sure they’re true and the hubs still feel smooth when you grab the axle.
Still, spending $5 for that specific bike is pretty good.
If you don’t want to put $200 in parts and a good tune up to get it rolling like it did in the late 90’s then, find a guy that’s 6’3”-6’5” and sell it to him for $20. lol

Oh man, I love that banana seat - brings back memories from my childhood.
My 2009 Felt Dispatch single speed/fixie with the flip-flop hub. Usually set up for bike path and winter road riding.
My 2005 Specialized S-Works Tarmac TdF edition full Dura-Ace. Haven't ridden it in a while but usually put about 3,000 miles on it each year.
