Personally i dont care for it at all on this site as im just here for the pinball but also not against others choice to do so....but I do think its a great idea to remove from regular forum and topics.

The occasional hot chick pic is great but it quickly spams out and ends up cheapening pinsides look

1. pin-up is a great name.

2. the area (if it is going to exist) should only be visible to registered pinsiders, and maybe a further restriction based on when their account was created and/or karma. if it does exist, it should be called "pin-up."

3. i've heard that there are other websites on the internet that can supply these types of pictures, so it may not be entirely necessary for pinside to come to the rescue.

100% agreed. I love the occassional witty pic... just not pics' for the pics' sake.

How about "The Magna Room" or "The Magna Lounge" and should be invite only.

I don't really see the point of it. Yes it is nice to look at sometimes, but this is a pinball site. There are millions of smut sites to visit, but hardly any pinball sites. Don't ruin a good thing.

Yes please add a subforum. Yes please make it invite only. Pin-up sounds like a good name.

If this means the regular forum stays / becomes more clean, then I'm all for it.

I am never bothered by the pictures. Heck, someone could post a pic of a girl naked and spread eagle on top of a TZ and I wouldn't mind. That being said, this forum does have to appeal to a wide group of people, and if some of our members are offended by it, I'm all for a sub-forum. I was the one who originally suggested that we have an OT/adult area where the posts don't show up under "Latest Discussions". In my eyes, this is a perfect compromise.

Personally I've never seen photos on here that I would consider over the line. But maybe they have been deleted before I saw them( dam).
I think most of us can have fun without crossing the line. But when we do that there is always the chance the line could be crossed. It's up to You Robin. It's your site and your reputation. You do what you want and if people like it they will follow.....It's worked so far. This is a great place. Use your best judgement. Asking in here if we should have an Adult section is like asking hungry dogs if they would like some steak.

I am in no way against porn but I don't think it should be on this forum at all. But if you are gonna let it happen then if a sub forum keeps your server going then it needs to be done.

Sounds like a reasonable idea, and reasonable request on keeping the adult related
pics off the main forum area. As a member here I understand why it might be needed
for people at work, or home with children near the pc. I personally don't need those
accomodations but it's nice that you'd go the extra mile for people here that do.

I agree with the clubbing of seals. Hot girls are great, but there are 1.876billion other sites out there for that kinda stuff already. Keep it pinball...

I'm not into any pinball-porn crap, the way I look at it the net is full of porn already and will only attract creeps who want a chance to speak up on it and will overflow to other topics not in the 'den'. Also any female members may be sure to leave- just saying

Hey I'm tolerant but if this is your art then you have to stand behind it simple as that, make sure this is the path you want your site to take and the kind of fellow members you want to hang with.

Personally I'm not worried but if it isn't pinball related and puts other pinball people off using the site, then ditch it unless you can put a clear opt in or opt out element as part for the site.

Because I'm into babes, and more into pinball babes and I don't like it when you complain about the threads getting turned into smut, or what ever it was you called it. You see Wes, to me it's just part of MY manhood. I like women there for really really enjoy seeing them naked or as naked as the forum rules will allow, particularly stretched out across a really really nice pinball machine. I remember around Easter a member who I'm not going to snitch on had a link that I knocked down, the photo of two hot goth ladies next to a pin was cool but the thumbs next to it 1) a women with a vodka bottle shoved way up her ___, and the other 2) a blonde chick with a __ shoved down her throat in tears was not cool for the under 18 members.
If this member would of just posted the pic of the 2 goth women playing pinball without the thumbs of the other xxx all would of been fine.

I have only been on the site for a few months so I don't know if this member squabble is unprecedented but, I really like all of the people involved so it would be great if we could agree to disagree somehow and get back to the love of our games and friendship.

The only reason for the existence of that god awful movie "The Spirit" is a 1 second (or so) long shot of Eva Mendes' ass. Almost made the other 2 hours bearable... Almost.

When I'm on this site I'd rather look at shop out pics of pins (loved the demo man today) or pin collections than pics of girls. I love girls but I'm here for the pinball. I'd hate to scare anyone away for any reason when they come here with a possible interest in pinball.

Wow, I was away for a few days and come home to see all of this...

My 2 cents is to keep it pinball and frankly delete these past few threads relating to this subject all together. I registered to pinside not pornside. Just my thoughts though. I respect everyones opinion.
