Other sites that have problems with the pre-paid Visa cards sometimes turned out to be the fraud prevention rejecting the card because it hadn't been linked to the user's shipping address. This was often corrected by the user calling the phone number on the card and having the correct address linked.

Skip, you have posted about your upcoming machines for sale so much that people are sick of hearing your broken record. You're free to post marketplace ads like anyone else.

No one should be able to start a dozen threads about the same coming soon sale.

You started five, got great advice (nearly 800 posts total), kept posting over and over and over and over and indicated you were losing sleep and having mental problems. You're still free to put up ads in the marketplace. Hopefully you're not free to annoy the heck out of everyone by posting another few hundred times that you've got some machines you'll be selling soon. Everyone who cares and a lot who don't already know that. Go to the marketplace if you want to post games for sale on Pinside.

Resistance to verification could be partly because robin and the moderator team handle many complaints before most users ever see them.

If you think about it from a troublemaker's point of view that extra step every time is a barrier that scales with the number of fake accounts they attempt to use.

Maybe you could publish some stats on how many fake accounts have been blocked or other problems that verification helps solve.

"All Pinball" is probably the most appropriate place in the forums but your profile has an area for "your story" that is an even better match. It just won't get seen by as many people and won't generate many replies.
