Whatever is new. Right now, it's ACNC.

Lots of good choices. I’m saying TNA, AFM and lately ST for me.

My current lineup is built around games like that. Here’s the current lineup plus a few others:

Walking Dead
Metallica
Beatles
TNA
Deadpool
Taxi
Joker Poker
Stars
Fish Tales

The grid never lets you go, but in heavy honeymoon phase w TWDLE currently....hard to turn it off.
TWDLE
TRONLE
IM
(I know you asked for 1, but probably a tie overall for me on those)

Agree 100%. I own those 3 (ok, my TWD is a Pro). I would say that IM would be my #1 though. It is an awesome light & sound package and Jericho is simply awesome. Keeps me coming back - tough game that can beat you up but after owning it for 8 years I can hold my own. Every time I think I am ready to sell it - I play it and it get's the heart pumping again and I walk away saying "No way i am selling this today!"

about Paragon...

never been a fan in the way i always prefer Lost World about these "twins"

You know I read that Keith Elwin stated future pins should be simple with short ball times yet deep...I wonder

how they will pull that off.

I played it this weekend at Silverball Museum and while it was fun and maybe his best pin to date, it was a theme I couldn't get into. Played a few games and walked away without feeling like I had to keep going.

Funny how polarizing this game is. I'm just the opposite. Love the theme, but the gameplay is lacking for me. I played it right beside a WOZ and plunged the last ball just to walk away and play WOZ instead.

Lately, these have been addicting for me...

Paragon
The Getaway: HS2
Game of Thrones
The Walking Dead

#114 4 years ago

all walking dead

#115 4 years ago

Subject to change...

EMs: Big Brave, El Dorado
Early SS: Stars, Meteor (Go Steve Kirk!)
DMD: Judge Dredd, TOTAN
Newer: MET, SW Prem/LE

#116 4 years ago

F2k gets the most plays out of my small lineup. Black knight is a close second. Multiball on f2k doesn't come easy and I get close so many times I want to keep playing to achieve it.

#117 4 years ago

Although not a pin, I understand Bally Skill Roll is most addicting.

I will be finding out soon.

#118 4 years ago

I keep pushing the button on Genie the last few days.

#119 4 years ago

I’ve been glued to Skateball and Eight Ball Deluxe lately... figuring out what to sell to make room for a Fathom or Meteor or Nine-Ball should I track any of them down. Really feeling the early 80’s SS stuff these days and just need something with a juicy spinner now.

#120 4 years ago

It has to be iron man. I’ve never loved and hated a game so much.

#121 4 years ago

Iron Man is the best "just one more game" pin that I have ever owned.

There is a reason that I have owned it longer than any other pin since being in the hobby.

I love IM, and enjoyed mine. Similar games really, but Avatar for me kept me coming back and back more. It was a better "one more game"-game for me. Nailing a doubled - Double Super was epic. The mode and multiball stacking, and multiple add-a-ball opportunities to resurrect a failing multiball were just fantastic. Custom callouts by Stephen Lang? Final Battle wizard mode is killer, so fun. I miss my Avatar. An underappreciated game. I'd argue it is the harder game overall with no Jericho-style mini-wizard mode for a consolation prize of a less than perfectly executed ball.

Was just going to post this topic and then saw it already existed.

From my collection...I agree on iron man being up there...also stern Star Wars and fish tales and space station...but

Can’t believe Getaway doesn’t get more love in this regard. Short ball times (for me at least), thumping “La Grange”, and I’m seemingly always falling just short of achieving a seemingly simple goal of redline mania.

My current start button pushers....ACNC and Tag Team.

Still IMDN after over a year of consistent gameplay. Fast, difficult, complex... Swear-inducing joy.

#127 3 years ago

I agree. The pins that I curse at the most are the ones I keep coming back to. Right now it's STTNG and Dirty Harry.

#132 3 years ago

North Star. Finished restoring and dialing mine in and after 10 games or so it's "ok just one more" for 15 more.
The fact that it's hard to build up the gobble holes to 200 or 300 points until you're at ball 4 and then it's "aaaargh if only I could have made that shot once more!" gives it that "one more game" appeal.
