These are all out of my price range, but I thought I'd share them with everybody. The craigslist ad said that they are 10% off this weekend.

PINBALL MACHINES READY TO GO!
* Stern World Poker Tour - $3599
* Data East Tale From The Crypt - $3199 - beautiful playfield - looks fantastic with LEDs, fresh and ready to go. A blast to play!
* Williams Star Trek Next Generation - $5299 - A great investment machine. No LEDs. Near perfect cabinet and playfield, collectors machine. Worth every penny and much more of the asking price.
* Williams Flintstones - $3399
* Data East Royal Rumble - $1899 - Classic Wrestling Theme, No LEDs but nice machine!

So what is a more normal price for a Tales from the Crypt? Not that I care as those are rich people pins. just curious.

That still doesn't answer my question. What are newer pins going for? I check CL and Ebay everyday. All I see are these rediculous high prices. When I check the classifieds, if it's an older game it's less than $500. If it's a newer game, it's over $3000. I'm just confused as to where people are getting restored games with LEDs etc. for cheap.

Yeah, I check the completed listings alot. I haven't seen anything lately that just made me sick that I missed it. I've found that the local paper ads are the best pricewise. It's just rare that there's ever a pin in them. I have been talking to an operator lately too, but he won't come down on anything. Thanks for the insight everybody. moving on. . . .

Quoted from Fatsquatch:

I know I'm very much in the minority, but LEDs kind of devalue a game for me.

I think they would for me too. I was just saying that because I categorize LED'd "pimped out" pinball machines in the same rich people machines bracket.

I don't think he means devalued in a literal sense.
