I'm going to be out in Erie this weekend, can anyone direct me to the pinballz? I saw Play Port on the map but reviews weren't good.

For what it's worth, Play Port was really cool.

My kids love Play Port. They go when they visit my parents. I've never been there. I don't think there's really any other option for locations.

Pins were in great shape, almost all LEDed. I kept getting distracted by all the classic arcades though, could definitely spend a few hours there.

Didn't see this til now. There are pins here and there, but no real central pin hub other than Playport. The owner, Brad, is a great guy. Helped him clean up a Boomerang he had. He's more of an arcade guy than a pin guy as you could tell by the amount of arcade games there. He hangs out with some of us pin guys when we get together. He does like RFM because of its hybrid pin/arcade nature.

Contact spida1a for the local rundown.

@dontfeed, I was raised near Wattsburg, PA.
Plenty of family still in the area.

Right on, we have family in Albion who get together for the opening of trout season every year. Master Baiter's Weekend is what the entire family calls it. I married into this shit.

Dude, I'm pretty jaded when it comes to arcades but I walked in there and got lost in my childhood again for a couple hours. The layout was just disorienting enough, just big enough.... Black lights everywhere, I kept seeing games I hadn't played before or even heard of mixed with games I've loved... And all sorts of stuff I didn't expect to find! We had a truckload of cousins in tow so I couldn't just geek right out but the vibe was 100% authentic.

Nice. I was raised in the city, but wanted to get out. Wanted some "room to grow" and moved out here.

I'll be working in Erie all summer so I need to find pin hangouts. Play Port has come a long way and all 8 pins work great 95% of the time. Round1 just opened in the Millcreek Mall, many newer Stern games. Voodoo Lounge!!!! This town is the second best that PA has to offer IMO.

Calling all Erie Pinheads for a smalll informal toury. Selfie to start with maybe?
