Monty Python and the Holy Grail
I kind of like the idea of this machine being a slightly updated 70s or 80s machine.

    Zombieland
Haven't really been following Ben Heck's project, but that sounds close. A campy zombie theme.

    Dark Tower
I'm not a crazy fan of Steven King, but I like the imagery from these books. Basically a sci-fi western.

    Harry Potter
    This one seems pretty obvious.

    Scooby Doo
I think it has appeal with adults and kids. Something with fun interactive monster toys.

    Ghostbusters
My second theme with Bill Murray. I guess it's my belief that pinball is it's best when it's campy.

    Star Wars
Would love to see something epic, a la Lord of the Rings.

    The Matrix
Man vs Machine, plus I really want to have an out of control Sentinel attack multiball.

    #52 8 years ago

I still think that The Warriors would make a great pinball machine.

    #53 8 years ago
    Quoted from dt3:

I still think some type of club/dj/techno/skrillex/deadmau5 game would be amazing.

I would love a game where each mode is a song that gets "built" as you play through the mode...adding in each of the different tracks as you make shots until you've got the whole song and then a multi-ball starts.

The only thing I listen to in that realm is Infected Mushroom.

    #54 8 years ago

Donkey Kong. You play as him, throwing barrels at Mario.

    #55 8 years ago

    In no particular order...

    The Big Bang Theory
    The Nightmare Before Christmas
    Harry Potter
    Battlestar Galactica
    Death Race
    The Warriors

    #56 8 years ago

Definitely agree with most of these suggestions. Pinball machines that incorporate themes that have elaborate plots and characters in them can really be a great factor when it comes to the design and artwork. Maybe something more connected to new trends like Game of Thrones or new stuff from Marvel?

    #57 8 years ago

    Wow, no Army of Darkness?

Boeing A lot of history in aviation over the years.

    Archer

    King of the Hill

    Peanuts

    Casino The movie

    #59 8 years ago

Oh and maybe I missed it but John Carpenters The Thing

    #60 8 years ago

I think Maestro's right. With licensed pins, the themes already deem what we expect to come from that pinball. If the programmers, table designers, artists, and audio programmers don't produce what we expect, then said table, is already a disappointment. Whereas a theme tempered around a table's design (a.k.a. Funhouse, No Good Gofers, Medieval Madness), don't have to content with these preconceived notions.

    #61 8 years ago

    1. Kill Bill Vol. 1&2
    2. Pulp Fiction

    MAD MAX
WILLIE WONKA GREAT IDEA it would be all tripped out
Nightmare before Christmas could be amazing

    #65 8 years ago
    Quoted from mswhat:

Boeing A lot of history in aviation over the years.

I'd go for an overall Boeing Pin. I want a B-17 one though.

    Tesla (The Inventor)

Wacky Races /The Perils of Penelope Pitstop/Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines (the best cartoon series...ever!)

    #67 8 years ago

    Led Zeppelin
    Rush
    Ghostbusters
    Mr. Belvedere

    #68 8 years ago

Rush--as in the band? I'm thinking they have a solid fanbase and the catalog to support a pin.

    Same with Journey.

Fast and Furious. I wouldn't have believed it could fly a few years ago, but it seems like every sequel makes more money than the previous.

    #69 8 years ago

    Big Trouble in Little China
    Last Starfighter
The Peanuts & Snoopy...could recreate the red baron on DMD and have some great callouts..."UGH"
The Jetsons....hey they did the Flintstones...why not the Jetsons
    Vacation w/ Chevy Chase.....Family Truckster!
Johnny Quest....similar to Indiana Jones but with a cartoon theme

    #70 8 years ago

Wow, Last Starfighter? Man what a classic from my youth! Great suggestion

    #71 8 years ago
    Quoted from woz:

    Tesla (The Inventor)
Wacky Races /The Perils of Penelope Pitstop/Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines (the best cartoon series...ever!)

You could even go one step further and do an Laff-A-Lympics hosted by Mildew Wolf and you could start the game as the Yogi Yahooies, Scooby Doobies or Really Rottens....LOL.

    #72 8 years ago

Iron Maiden pin would be awesome. I love their music and the artwork possibilities are endless.

Someone mentioned Gremlins, that would be a great theme as well.

How do we all get together and force them to make a pin we want?

    #74 8 years ago
    Quoted from EvanDickson:

    Licensed, in no particular order:
    Firefly
    Deadwood
    Legend of Zelda
    Settlers of Catan
    Battlestar Galactica
Adventure Time with Finn and Jake
    Archer
    Venture Bros.
    Starcraft
    Puppets Who Kill
    Unlicensed:
    Noah's Ark
King Arthur, and the knights of the Round
    A time traveller one
Something themed around zooming down to the microscopic / atomic level
Something based on almost any Philip K Dick story (which I suppose would be licensed)
    Ninjas vs Pirates

Adventure Time would be an instant purchase for me.

    #75 8 years ago
    Quoted from Wonbadmfer:

Wave a HUGE wad of cash in front of their face?

I'd love to be able to re-skin my own though. I have the resource to do the design, and printing. But time, and sound and programming would be fault.

    #76 8 years ago

We need a Clive Barker pin. Hellraiser is an obvious choice, but I'd love to see Nightbreed.

    #77 8 years ago

NHL but I know no chance. Motorhead but I know no chance. Castlevania I heard someone was once making one only. Monsters of Rock like the festivals back in the day. Hopefully Maiden down the road.

    #78 8 years ago

    Castlvaina let's make this happen
Right now who do we talk to

    #79 8 years ago

Why not a Nintendo pin ? Zelda , Mario , metroid, excite bike . All major games mixed . It would be like a play choice 10 with a pinball twist .
I alSo like the ghostbusters , scooby doo, jaws, and space balls

    #80 8 years ago

    A world war 2 pin
Multi ball would he like storming the beach in Normandi

    #81 8 years ago
    Quoted from Wonbadmfer:

    A world war 2 pin

A few years ago all the First person shooters were about WWII, and they were pretty popular. Wouldn't think a pin would be any different.

Ooh could have a mode kinda like Demolition Man in a way, but more like STTNG. Have a bombing run on a pillbox.

    #82 8 years ago

After seeing the new Mad Max, I would vote for that!

    #83 8 years ago

    insane concepts?..
a pin with three tables in it (triangular) that rotates up a different pf when a goal is obtained. connecting them all and the indexed rotation would be a mechanical nightmare but playing something like that to get through 1st pf and modes to bring up the 2nd (harder) and past that to the 3rd table.. no it sure wouldn't be cheap!

similarly, what if a rear upper pf were to turret rotate to 3 different positions? half concealed by the backbox, turning like a lazy susan during a ball lock type event. flippers could be stationary, active or disabled depending on turret segment. ramps up into it open or blocked so its not always the same shot to get up in there, but blocked could easily have 1-2 standup targets needing some hits.. VUK's to get in or ejected out into a habitrail? how bad would connecting really be turning 120 degrees from center to right or left with a 240 degree max pivot action?

this isnt "what theme now?" stuff, it's pf's that change even moreso than some do already with popcaps rising or hiding etc. I'm not thinking any particular theme(s) atm but the concept might enhance some themes and gameplay (upper pf turret the less complex less expensive to do).
a ramp/habitrail blocked or open depending on turret position? a popcap shared to a segment divider so it's on left side or right side with different turret position? one in center 1/3 shared to all 3 (possible with a 4" tube center column topped with a radial bearing maybe)?
    ok nuff-o-that..

another I'd like to see is EPIC PINBALL's "CyborGirl" made into a real machine, they had a few other pretty good tables/themes in those early day computer games too but I liked her clothes and hair colors changing and eventually lightning through her hair. the very good but simple gameplay could make a cool budget production machine.

    This. So much.

    #87 8 years ago

btw.. dibs on a FREE turreted upper pf machine if it inspires a manufacturer to produce beasts like that for knowing how cool theyed be (that and I'm POOR dangit). the big rotor could also present different features to the lower pf with different upper segments presented: standups, a tunnel loop with rollovers (think Black Knight lower pf), a catch hole to set up multi-ball play, downward firing slingshot(s).. kinda beyond the face changes in BOP, is very cool too.

add all that to the things listed above like a blocked ramp having 1-2 standup targets to hit, or an upper segment having 1 (right or left) or 2 flippers usable depending upon position, or a 1/2 popcap being left or right side with maybe a segment having 1 plus a half..
the concept could do some really wild interesting things to a pf and overall game,
AND.. oh hey, what if a game had a different turret module that could be swapped in?
the drive motor that turns it remaining in place, 1-2 big connectors for mechanicals and lights that are ID tagged for the machine's CPU to alter its instruction set for handling the different module. with any-either module it also gives options to what type of game or difficulty by which turret segment is presented 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and difficulty levels by what targets need to be hit (x number of times or x sequence) to turn the turret..

I'm no programmer and most programmers I've known arent exactly idea guys BUT.. spell out an idea for them they sure go crazy to make it all happen! I get that it'd be huge hoops to jump through, not just the mechanical stuff, there'd need to be a great theme(s) to incorporate this changing upper pf concept into, I'm still not thinking about that part..

I know some what the original of this movie made but I don't think the remake will have a chance. http://www.theverge.com/2015/6/1/8701813/rock-dwayne-johnson-big-trouble-in-little-china

Tales of The Arabian Nights Remake
    Theatre of Magic Remake
I'd like to see more non-licensed type games like TOM, TOTAN, MM, etc.
The Simpsons - not a remake and with a LCD
    Futurama
    Game of Thrones
    Star Wars
    Jurassic Park
    Terminator Genisys
    Minions
    Alice in Wonderland

    Neil Nicastro

    Quoted from vid1900:

But Neil Nicastro wanted to kill pinball- for good.

Not only did he shut down the lines, but he also refused to sell the pin division to any other company or individual.

Have a bash toy on the playfield so you could hit him over and over.

    Quoted from vid1900:

Niel hated the whole pinball division.
He would rather let everything rot, than sell it to any other party.
Years latter, he would not even sell the remaining inventory to a single buyer.
He split up everything and sold it to buyers on all different continents, just to maximize the chaos.
They did not call him The Cocksucker for nothing.

Maybe a Neil head elevated above the playfield (like Gene Simmons) with a ramp shot so you can send balls into his mouth, and he doesn't spit them back out like Rudy.

Each mode could be from the different movies he made.

    This

It will never happen, but I can dream

I would also love a Jaws pin or a Blues Brothers pin

    #98 8 years ago

i think they could do a lot with Breaking Bad, but would have to have actual voice clips from the show.

A Pinball Machine about "Nothing!" - $2400 (CO)

"Whats the deal with Pinball Machines?" That's right everyone, join Jerry and the gang in fast and laughter filled pinball gameplay as you try to achieve "Nothing" This game is loaded with tons of classic character call outs, phrases and punch lines from the long running hit comedy series "Seinfeld."

The game features six major modes of play:
    "Yadda yadda yadda"

"Not that there's anything wrong with that."

    "Bubble Boy"

    "Shrinkage"

"Soup Nazi. No soup for you!"

    "Serentiy Now!"

as well as a final Wizard mod, "I'm the Wiz!"

    FOUR DIFFERENT MULTIBALLS:

    "Newman!"

    "Jerkstore"

    "Festivus""

    "Sponge worthy"

This game is so much fun to play and as many times as Ive played it I rarely here the same sound bites repeated. I believe this machine is somewhat rare as Ive never seen another one like it. My ex-husband brought it home and he was an employee of NBC.

$2400 or best offer. Please email if interested. [email protected]
