Hello

I have looked a long time to find a Mystery Castle pin from Alvin G. I found one I was very pleased with but I have now found another one that I like even better that is not speckled.

The Mystery Castle pins will be up soon as I have two with slightly different artwork as one has speckles and the other does not. I was not sure which one I will keep but after playing each for a few weeks, it just came down to a cosmetic decision. For what its worth I have 5300 and 5000 in these pins, plus shipping. I felt lucky to find them as these Alving G pins are hard to find in any condition and price but I believe I have to of the best of survivors left on the planet.

I have finally has the time to post more detailed pictures. If anyone needs anything else just PM. I have no problem shipping with NAVL and STI as they have been here recently and again over the last 6 months several times. i can also bring it to one of the auctions for free in Winston Salem or TN. I might be going to the Louisville show but at present it doesnt look good due to many factors.

Thanks for looking.

I might be buying a pin in Northbrook so I am coming up your way soon. If I do not get it I am still coming up to pickup a shipment of MMRLE I have sold. I say we could be close on Tron Pro after all but I have not heard back from Northbrook as soon as I do I will PM.

MC is I highly sought after collector game. My guess is you will move both quickly. Post some pics.

Sounds good Buddy. Please keep me posted.

You are correct I have serious action on Mystery Castle and some on Tron Pro. Pics will be up tomorrow as I have been delayed today with an unexpected trip to Sams Club.

Yes those are the actual Voltan pics of the one for sale, the playfield is rough but the fact it exists and is complete is important.

If someone needs it, ALOT. If not, then not so much. I would say no less than $250 if perfect. I have sold MANY over the years cheaper.

That was an awesome translation! Bravo!

Are the Mystery Castle's still available ?

I was always waiting for him to post the pics. Probably sold both pretty quickly, highly collectable games that are immune to being remade.

#15 9 years ago

Sorry for the delay but business has been good with selling of all things video games. I had two days of getting pins and games wrapped and ready for NAVL. I sold my really nice restored Voltan with an offer I could not refuse and I will not share the price but it sure was a beauty and its headed to Washington State along with a Super Off Road and Playchoice 10. John is getting a Mustang Pro from me in California too. I used that cash to purchase a HEP TAF pin from Jon Brady and of course pay some more taxes.

The long waited Mystery Castle pics are coming and both claimed to be HUO. I have decided to keep the black one and sell the non speckled and no amount of money will change my mind even 10k so I am safe. I still have a Tron Pro and if I can get my prototype in time for Louisville Expo I will take Tron along with the Hobbit proto, maybe I will even have a MMRLE to sell, at this point I do not know.

Thanks for everyone's patience. Pics are coming now

Here is the first set of pictures and YES this Mystery Castle has all matching serial numbers from even the lid covering the cash box to all matching boards in the head. I was old it was won in a contest but who knows for sure I picked it up in Ohio. This is the speckled version and I am kepping the non speckled one that doesnt have matching serial numbers but matches my other Alving G pins better. I have only added a Cliffy protector the scoop. Was going to remove and keep it for mine bu it a pain to remove so I will just order another one. More pics to come....

This pin is really nice and plays fun if I had a trusty worth location I would kep it and try to opeate like I did the Pistol Poker I sold Robert in north Carolina. Its that rare but really doesnt seem t tear up othr than flipper links. Condition is king and please look at all the pics. I am asking 5300 as I have that after shipping expense. I could take the pin to the auction show in TN on Feb 21 or March 14 in Winston Salem and can bring the pin there for free with a 500 dollar deposit. Dont let tihs rare pin pass you by, I looked for years and finally found 2 great examples.

Thanks for looking
Buddy

Those are just to rare to bring to sale especially when home use only for real.

I just saw this thread and read it wrong as Voltron, and was about to cause my husband to have a heart attack that such a machine existed and he didn't own it. lol

Good luck with the sales.

GLWS Buddy

MC is going to be hard to find in that kind of shape.

#25 9 years ago

Yea, that MC is in better shape than I thought it would be in. Great collector piece. I'd look to work something out if I were closer.

#26 9 years ago

As luck would have it I am picking up 500 to 1000 cinema sheets near Baton Rouge Sat. Not sure if I am picking them up as I am trying UShip.com

That would be me The PP became my son's favorite game for about a year until SM came into the house. I ran out of room, so now PP is being enjoyed by my neighbor's (on loan) who have caught the bug and looking for their own pins now.

In any case, deal with confidence with Buddy. Nice guy and will go out of his way for you.

#29 9 years ago

Any trades ?

#30 9 years ago

Trades welcome, I am looking for a near mint Al's Garage Band Goes On a World Tour or a Party Zone.

#31 9 years ago

A few more pictures of the game and backglass. It does have a small scratch in the front where the pin dolly scrapped it and I had to pry open the lock from the previous owner as he lost the keys as it was not powered on in over 10 years. Thanks again for looking! Buddy

#33 9 years ago

I have one! This game is amazing to play! I've had mine for 10 years, after spending 3 looking for one! Needs a few repairs... broken target and ball won't fire! Target broke the last time I played it a few years ago. It's been sitting for 2 years unplugged. I fired it up tonight and the ball wouldn't fire. I would consider letting mine go.... might! I just play, I don't work on em and it's tough to find someone around here to do repair work!
