Just wanted to give a shout out to Lorenzo at Pinnovators. I bought his pinpac2 headphone jack system at the Allentown show in anticipation of getting my METpro. First off, what a great guy to talk and deal with. He took the time to unpackaged and explain to me how the system works and its easy installation. He had an AC/DC bible to play and demonstrate the system and man was I sold. Bought it for the show special price and put it in finally this weekend. Great product, easy to install and works great. Thanks Lorenzo for a great product and for your help. I highly recommend getting one of his systems for your pins.

Completely agree with you on this. I bought one from Lorenzo and put it on my Avengers Hulk and wow with the sound turned up it's like having surround sound all around you. The ACDC at the show really rocked and that definitely helped me make a decision to buy one there. I ordered a 2nd one for my Metallica so it's good to hear it sounds just as good on that game as I'm really looking forward to hooking this up to crank out the sounds. Does this help overcome the sound deficiencies so many people are talking about? I'm sure I'll probably add the FF speakers and sub woofer as well but was curious to see what others thought.

It definately enhances the sound on Metallica, I did hook up an external subwoofer and that helped big time. Metallica music was meant to be heard with bass pumping.

I agree. I have them on all of my pins.
Anyone who has not tried playing a pin with headphones does not know what they are missing.
My entire family loves the headphone jacks.

I also agree. I have bought 18 kits so far with 5 more on order. When i host partys people cant believe that you can have that many pins in a room running yet its like play as if the room was empty --- also some of the suttle call outs that you hear with headphones just really get you more into your game. My favorites are tron le and ironman.

You need to host another one!

Thanks, we had a good time in Allentown. Next year ill probably bring Metallica le for the booth.
We've been picked up a few vendors, you can now also purchase our kits at
Bay Area amusements
Little shop of games
Flipper fidelity

For those who havnt tried it, we now make headphone kits for games with out a normal coin door in our PinPac 3 model. Please check out our website at Pinnovators.com
We also have posted some installation videos on our Facebook pages so feel free to check that out. It's about 5 minutes max to install the PinPac 1 or PinPac 2. For some reason narrating it took 20 minutes lol.. Big shout out to Ed for helping make the video.

I installed my PinPac2 while updating the code to 1.06 - it's that easy. I had headphones ready for my league night Saturday, and to my surprise EVERYONE used them! Not surprising, since the sound is SO much better than with the speakers. I have a set of FF speakers on the way too.

Lorenzo, have you thought about adding a rocker switch for controlling game volume? I've seen the one that mounts in the tournament switch location, but it would be great to have it in the PinPac panel.

We actually made a up and down master volume control button kits for jersey jack games that we will be selling.. We can do that same set up with a extra up and down master volume control in our current stern PinPac 2 plates but I figured people would just buy the tournament button kit that's out there instead. So I havnt tried selling that design.

I have really enjoyed the couple plates/jacks that I have installed but I completely agree they would be even better if they also had a master volume control integrated on the same board. Not sure if it's possible but would make a good addition to a game now be GREAT!

Yes we actually prototyped this recently and it worked well. I moved the controls I have now over to the right on the embossing and drilled a up and down hole for two buttons on the left side. I havnt implemented it into our current design figuring people were happy with the guy doing the tournament button toggle switch.

Lorenzo and Pinnovators are legit. Thanks for letting me pop my BIBLE cherry at Pinfest. (Big dude in the Dimebag shirt)

More integration is better, and I actually like my tournament switch. I play my son for money.

I can understand but I would likely purchase even more with full volume control included as well, that is a feature I am longing more and more on my games. I am having more and more children over as my kids get older but I still need to remove the keys otherwise they will end up lost in space forever. With so many people having different preferences on volume when playing it is SO much easier if all in one unit.

Can you definitively say if you might be offering this in the near future or not? If so I'd hold off a little to purchase more "all in one" but if it is unlikely then I might have to go with tournament or coin return options for volume.

Ok ill prototype a kit this week for our stern PinPac 2 kit. Ill have the exact same controls and hardware that we currently use shifted over and on the left side of the factory embossed plate ill have a master control up and down buttons built in... Just need to see which buttons I like the look of the most. Already know the harness I adapted will work on it. Give me a week and ill show everyone pictures of the prototype. Bemmett gets the first one.
