why are some of the screws on the newer stern games pink?

I've seen them used on spinners and gates. any reason cause they looked identical to the other screws used.

I know B/W and Chicago use golden smaller screws for bayonets, but pink? I'd like to know why

I've seen them use different colors to specify the length. red a bit shorter, blue a bit longer. Haven't seen pink before though.

huh, guess I didn't inspect them that close. I always put them back in the same place just in case it was something like that.

The color coding of screw hex caps has been used for decades to specify the length of depth.
Capcom used seven different types for their games for example.
Bally, Williams, and Gottlieb unified many parts by increasing the thicknesses of metal of assemblies, thereby increasing efficiency of production game speed and reducing number of required parts.

Ensure wood screws are placed back in the same holes, or risk of puncturing through the playfield surface.
