I'm consistently amazed at all of the whining about this subject in one form or another. More people in the industry equals more demand equals higher prices. As someone who wants to see this industry survive long term, the more the merrier. If you really want to have a niche hobby that no one cares about and the value of the hobby is reflective of that, then there are many other options out there for you to get into. This is a free market, no one is forcing anyone to purchase anything at whatever cost. If there are no buyers, the price will come down to reflect that and so on and so forth. The reality here is, when COVID gets to the point where people can travel again I expect the market will soften as a result but hopefully the overall boom continues.
