Greg ad I wanted to thank everyone that visited our booth.

We also raised almost $300 for he American cancer society on the big bang bar, monster bash, and medieval. Rockland Pinball is going to match the $300 that the machines earned.

    Thanks to all who contributed.

btw.. the big bang was on all day Friday and up until 2pm on Saturday without any glitches and was being played pretty steady

    That awesome Rob!!!!!

Sweet! Not only is Rob an asset to the community, and handsome as all hell, he hooked me up with an awesome neon sign. Party on!

Just wanted to add to what Rob said.
Fantastic show, lots of great people. We seem to grow every year, but so many familiar faces make it a great time.

Many of you who know me have seen me back down from Pinside a bit lately, but we are still going strong in the hobby. We came home both exhausted yesterday, and enjoyed every minute of it!

This year we also included some new products for sale, and hopefully will continue to expand that in the coming year.

A few pictures that I wanted to share....

For those of you who don't see what goes into the "before the show" prep....

We started with an empty corner and a 26' truck. We managed to have the truck packed to the gills and had to take a second vehicle to fit the last two pins.

Unloading 20-something machines including a few arcade games, plus all of the parts, and then getting everything set up is NOT something to be undertaken lightly!

I remember years ago when I took one machine by myself to Pinfest I thought that was a lot of work, but this is a whole different level.

But, thanks to the Farmers Market, ice coffee was in ready supply and fueled the setup.

We had these two machines set up for the fund raiser. We did swap the Monster Bash for MMR LE Saturday morning.
And yes, I did put coin mechs in it, and it did work without so much as a hiccup the entire show!

As a side note, as Rob mentioned, the BBB worked amazingly. The biggest challenge I dealt with was prior to the show, getting a ball validator working. This was not a plug and play setup, and I wasn't about to start cutting and splicing wired. In the end, got it working, and the amount we raised really was fantastic. The team had people coming up to us thanking us and relating some personal connections with cancer that really hit close to home.

The MMRLE spent Saturday visiting Flipper Fidelity for some prototyping time. It is currently the only MMRLE on the planet with a flipper fidelity backbox system!

And lastly was BSD. We brought a few showcase pieces to share with the crowd. This and the TAFG were things we had to share. The TAFG was freshly decaled with new trim.

But the BSD, I personally, think was a real attention getter. It came from a machine with a roached cabinet. So the beautiful playfield got a full topside teardown and then the gem received a brand new cabinet, alternate decals, red powdercoated armor with some chrome accents. You don't often see Rob or I in pictures, but we both had to pose when we were handed the blue ribbon for best in show. Totally unexpected.

Thank you Pinfest 2016...see you all soon!

Great work guys. Finally got to meet Greg in person.

Setup was awesome. I'm not a BSD fan but that pin was spectacular! Rockland booth was hopping the whole time!

Actually, it looks more like the "Why am I doing all the work, while you're standing there taking pictures" look.

Thanks for bringing so much to the show. My friends and I enjoyed playing BBB.

Gwaxt72, really excellent idea setting up those games to benefit cancer research.

Having a family member lose to cancer, and having a very close friend survive from stage 4 non hodgkin's lymphoma, never have I felt so satisfied feeding money into a pinball machine.

    Thank you!

Nice seeing you at the show Rob! You guys had a great setup, my son loved the Toy Taxi and that music machine (not sure what it was called). Great charity too! The weekend was over too soon can't wait for next year!

Kudos for being such a large contributor to the show. I look forward to doing more business with Rob and Greg in the future.
