    Quoted from ExSquid:

I see this all the time in these threads. Is there a lactose intolerant problem at these things?

    Beer and pretzel cheesesteaks.

Merchant's Square is where I 1st started going to the shows. Then called Pinball Wizard's convention.

    Quoted from TheClownpuncher:

What is everyone's experience with selling games there? I have a couple I'd like to bring and have no problem putting them in the free area but I really don't want to bring them home. Of course, I don't want to give them away either. Just curious.

What are the titles you're bringing? If they're desirable titles, they should sell.

    Quoted from OldHockeyGuy:

I enjoy looking at and playing Bally/Williams games from the 60's & 70's, especially chrome flippers or Kelley/Marche artwork, but if I bring home another game, I'll be punished severely.
So, it may be just parts, manuals, and fun play for me.

How about a chrome flipper Williams Alpine club? Trade or sell.

    Quoted from OldHockeyGuy:

Have to laugh at the guy gawking at the female skier's derriere. Not the first time that has happened at a ski resort.
Does the green cabinet really match the playing field and backglass?

It is an ugly green, for sure. Haha

Looking for an original Fat Tire neon sign.

You got room on a wall for that?

Still looking for an original Gottlieb coin box that will fit a Target Alpha.
Thanks, will be there Friday after lunch.

I have a couple Gottlieb ones, no lids. Let me know.

    Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:

I'm not perfect and I'll complain about some things but let me tell you a little story.
2021, I bring my brand spanking new Rick and Morty to the pinball show and put it on freeplay. I'd only ever seen one in the wild, and wanted to share my machine. I put a big "not for sale" label on my machine, and checked on it constantly. About 2 o'clock on Saturday I got a call, and then another call, and then a text from different people who wanted to rent my machine. Some, (pardon my French), asshole had gone around putting their "machines for rent" business card on many machines throughout the show. I had to explain to 3 different people that it wasn't available, and it wasn't my card before I figured out what was going on and removed the cards. Straight up "Douche Canoe".

That's messed up, but even with your "Not for sale" label, you will still get plenty of folks with offers to buy. YMMV

Any interest in an EM Williams Alpine Club? Fun title with 4 flippers.

    Quoted from king_pin:

By late Saturday afternoon people are normally packing up and the selection isn't as great.

Sometimes you can grab some deals, cause people don't want to haul their games back home.

    Quoted from JodyG:

Philly Expo Center is in Oaks...imagine being able to play pinball and then go buy guns/ammo/beef jerkey next door in the same building on the same day!

This would be awesome! Lots of stuff nearby, hotels, bars and eating, not to mention closeby for me.

    Quoted from Vic_Camp:

Contact Randy at the Retro-Arcade on Wildwood boardwalk. He might have an extra one or more than likely will know where you can buy one.

Hey Vic, is his arcade still there? I haven't been to Wildwood in years.

    #1126 1 year ago
    Quoted from ZNET:

Randy's arcade is great. I always supported his arcade, both before and after its relocation. Just don't discuss any topic with him unrelated to pinball and arcades.
We were Facebook friends for years until I had the audacity to politely challenge one his "fake moon landing conspiracy" Facebook posts. Rather than defend his position in support of that conspiracy theory, Randy unfriended me, to dodge the need to respond. In doing so, he lost both a friend and a good customer over a silly conspiracy theory.

Didn't see any pins on the video Vic posted, are they in the back?

Any interest in back issues of Pingame Journal? I have from issue #125 to current.

    Wrong.
It’s the same pos’s popping stink bombs by the bathrooms every year. Pathetic losers.

Could be the cheesesteak pretzels and beer!

    #1450 1 year ago

Have a cool Williams EM Alpine Club I can bring, not a project.

Looking for a 1962 Gottlieb King Of Diamonds!

    1967

    Quoted from BRONX:

    1967 Gottlieb King of diamonds.
What does a very good example actually fetch nowadays? I notice on pinside classifieds most don't sell or actual price is hidden
1952 king of hearts same question.
How many e.m pinballs are to be expected at pinfest using prior shows as a base

Not as many as the York show. York has way more EM's IMO.

    Quoted from Adrift:

Soooooo...given the way this is trending, how would people if the only solution was a new venue? And what if that venue was in another city?

Expo center at Oaks gets my vote!!

    #2742 11 months ago
    Quoted from CrazyLevi:

Those impulse flipper games aren’t much fun

Not a fan of those either, only good thing I guess you can play with one hand and hold a beer with the other.

    #2798 11 months ago
    Quoted from Black_Knight:

We sampled both Pat's and Geno's but won't reveal which we liked better so as not to start an argument here.

Haha, You didn't have to travel to Philly to sample cheesesteaks, any decent pizza place or Italian deli probably makes one just as good if not better.
