Not sure what will/won't be ready since it's still early, but the following may be up for sale/trade
-Williams Pit Stop
-Bally Big Valley
-Williams Firepower II (very nice condition)
-Data East Simpsons (would trade for a BK2K)
-Gottlieb Black Hole (very long shot of this being done)
-Daval Buttons (super rare pre-war game, needs some work but outstanding condition)
Looking for BK2K, Xenon, Vector, Electra, Bone Busters, Sorcerer, possibly others...
I have pic somewhere from the Wayne NJ pinball swap meet from 2003 where you can see a non-working but complete Black Rose for $250 and a fully working and shopped one for $695.
I'll kick off this year's "not pinball but" posts with this. Any synth nerds in here? I'm selling a rare Octave CAT analog synth from 1974. Recapped, refurbished, and fully working. Asking $1800 or best offer (will trade towards games on my wishlist: Elektra, Vector or Xenon).

Quoted from Clytor:I think "Odyssey" was a Freudian slip This was Octave's competitor to the Arp Odyssey. I had an Odyssey MK3, years ago, that I loved. I also have had a few different vintage and newer analog synths, over the years. I have a Sequential Pro 3 now. I hadn't had a synth in quite a while as I am primarily a guitar player. My impetus for getting a synth again...make custom pinball sounds
You are correct, typing too fast and my synth brain broke. You can make Solid State pinball sounds with this!
Anyone want to trade their Black Knight 2000 for a Data East Simpsons? Will be shopped, LED'd, fully working with new plastics + topper. Will post pics when it's ready.
Mentioned this earlier but I'm looking to trade my Data East Simpsons for a Black Knight 2000. Open to other trades/offers, but that's primarily what I'm looking for.
The Simpsons is fully working and was just shopped + fully LED'd with warm whites. It looks and plays great. The backglass is nearly pristine with one small scratch and the playfield is fully mylared (there's touchup in the inlanes and outlanes though). Game has been cleaned inside and out. It also has a brand new plastic set + topper on it and comes with a set of blue prototype plastics, as well as some other spare parts, drop targets, decals, Also includes a very nice condition original manual. Boards have been very reliable in the years I've had and batteries have been moved off CPU.

Will be for sale/trade, shopped, LED'd etc. Would trade for a Taxi, Bone Busters, or Xenon if the playfield/bg are nice. Also looking for Vector, Elektra, or Cybernaut.
Quoted from mtbpinball:Looking for these games. Project or not.
Grand Lizard
Centaur
Sorcerer
BK2000
Xenon
High Speed
Now here's a man with good taste in games.
Cue Ball Wizard is registered for free play. Fully shopped, LED'd and playing great. Have a new set of rails for it coming and will post pics when it's done.
In the meantime, I'm reposting this if there's any synth nerds in here interested in a fully working/recapped analog CAT synthesizer from the 70s. Sounds incredible. $1500 firm (which is honestly a steal considering what these go for on reverb). More pics/info available, just PM me.

*SOLD* However I'm willing to bring this super rare, unbelievably well preserved pre-war game called Buttons if pre-sold. This is the only known example of this game on the internet. It works mechanically but needs the transformer looked at/replaced to get power to the scoring coil. It's in unreal condition for the age. Asking $1K. *SOLD*
Cue Ball Wizard is registered for Free Play, pics coming next week.

Anyone interested in a tabletop digital pinball? This Sharpin is barely used and in pristine condition. Android model, I didn't put many apps on it. Normally these are $600 unassembled but I'll sell this one ready to go for $400 firm.

Won't sell before the show but will entertain trades. New side rails, new rubbers, new flipper bats, new cue ball + 8 ball, new leg bolts + levelers, new balls, new flipper buttons, new score cards, warm white LEDs throughout, ground mods done. Works and plays great, just missing the decorative cue stick.

Quoted from mdmitch2:I'm interested in 80's and 90's project machines (Williams/Bally/Data East/Sega). I've never been to Pinfest -- is it common for people to bring / sell project machines?
Yes, but it's random how many there will be there. Some years have many more than others and the good deals tend to go fast. Depending on the title, don't be surprised to see fairly high prices on games that need *a lot* of love.
Quoted from Colsond3:That’s funny. If I know someone expects me to ask, I purposely walk in and just hit the start button. Unless it’s some masterful museum piece. Or if they are a real asshole about it, I’ll just walk away. I’m not at a show to look at games, I’m there to play games.
I've said this in previous Pinfest threads: If you're a vendor that doesn't want their games played by everyone, there's an *unbelievably simple solution* for that - switch your game's free play setting to off. It shouldn't be the attendees responsibility to know which games are and aren't vendor games, especially when some vendors are fine with their games being played just like the rest of the free play section.
This was quite possibly the best Pinfest ever, both from the show's perspective and from my own endeavors. I sold everything I brought and came home with the 2 Bally "sisters" Elektra and Xenon I've been wanting for a long time.
3 reasons this year's show stands out from the rest:
1) For the first time in recent memory the free play was 100% full. There wasn't a single empty spot when the show opened and I'd say a very high percentage of the games remained there for Saturday as well.
2) The free play section had GOOD quality titles throughout. It wasn't just hoards of EMs and early SS games. Many modern LCD screen and DMD era games mixed in with some of the nicest looking/playing EMs I have ever seen at Pinfest.
3) The energy level never died out on Saturday. Unlike previous shows where things seem to die out around 3 or 4pm on Saturday, the place was absolutely rocking right up until the last minute. Great crowd, great energy, and great games being played the whole time.
My complaints: None. Did I mention the weather was perfect?
PXL_20230507_182641346 (resized).jpgPXL_20230507_183146839 (resized).jpg
The show is perfect the way it is. Changing venues and losing the Farmer's Market would be an automatic downgrade in my opinion. Only thing that needs to be addressed is the line which I'm sure is fixable with some kind of pre-sale system.
If space really is a factor moving forward, bringing back the outdoor flea market may be a solution.
Quoted from Black_Knight:Finally decompressed and unloaded from our 2,000+ mile trip from ATL to Allentown and several points "along the way." My wife and navigator was a good sport about he trip and even played in the women's tournament.
We stopped at the Roanoke Pinball Museum on the way up. Great machines, including a Defender which I still don't know the rules for. Thanks to Nick spending time with us at the show! NicoVolta
Had to make a run to Denver PA to pick up some auction winnings, including a 1939 Evans bowler. I delivered 2 games to Allentown but loaded up a total of 10 machines for the drive back. The deals kept me busy much of Friday, but I had plenty of time to qualify poorly in the tournament!
Saturday was great for just walking the free play area and meeting great people.
Sunday it was off to Philly for some Cheesesteaks. We sampled both Pat's and Geno's but won't reveal which we liked better so as not to start an argument here.
On the way to DC we 'swung over' to Frederick MD to visit Spinners and their great line up. The space is huge and the staff was great.
Spent the night in DC and I left my wife there for a meeting that day then to fly back. Meanwhile I drove over in Charlottesville to see the new Decades Arcade space that just opened the weekend before. Paul and Lindsey did a great job moving into their unique space in the old downtown area. pookycade
From there I headed to Johnson City TN to pick up the last machine and turned towards home. The funny part is my wife's flight was delayed and I beat her home Monday night.
We really enjoyed the show. I like the pinball only focus and the number of vendors outnumber those down here in the south.
If anyone knows who owns the 10th inning that was on the floor, please let me know.[quoted image]
Hey Mark, thanks again for buying the Buttons machine. It was a pleasure meeting you and I am glad the machine is in the right hands. Please keep in touch if/when you get it fully working!
