Quoted from Murphdom:Slightly odd request…anyone have a pay phone encloser they would be willing to sell? I know there is a lot of random stuff sold at the show.
[quoted image]
I don't have the enclosure, but I have a NOS payphone, mounted on a NOS high security stand, with NOS sign. For the right offer, it can leave my basement.
20220207_175209.jpgQuoted from Murphdom:Wow that thing is nice. Thanks for the offer but I’m looking for an enclosure for a different kind of project.
[quoted image]
Ahh, cool idea
Quoted from guard:Need a head for a Dolly Parton. Buddy didn't think that was important and tossed it away cleaning out his Dad's house.
Looking for 2 Big Houses.....
A Head on a pin is totally overrated
Quoted from ralphs007:I was thinking about the same thing the other day,and it reminded me of the episode on Seinfeld were Kramer wanted everyone to wear a name tag.
I'd be afraid that if I wore a Pinside badge,I'd be getting punched in the face all day.
Agree, no name tag for me.
Quoted from JakePG:Is there an outdoor and indoor flea market? Does outdoor flea market start before the show on Friday?
Depending on weather, there is usually a small outside flea. You can usually wander around it prior to the doors opening on the main show. Inside is a large flea market. The flea market is the main draw for me, definitely the best show around.
Quoted from 1974DeltaQueen:Looking for one 28.5” leg dark grey for a Bally EM. PBR is out of many of the non ribbed legs.
I'll take a gander tomorrow, I must have fifty legs and I seem to remember grey ones...unless I put those on an 8 Ball I sold....Hmm
Looks like the only painted legs I have are a set from a RFM, sorry.

Still looking for:
Williams "Pit Stop" BG
Bally "Beauty" Bingo BG
Old slot machine project
Cool old smaller coin op machines and projects.
A color DMD
Quoted from DodgersFan32:Still selling a Slick chick pin & a Wild kingdom arcade. Looking for big hit & or gemini. Will be at show so free delivery!
Had a Wild Kingdom, great EM shooter!
Quoted from DodgersFan32:I agree but rather have a Gangbusters, Big hit & Gemini.
I'd love a Gangbusters or Haunted House. Had a Wild Kingdom in rough shape that I got for free, unfortunately I ended up having to gut it. Still have the Cracked glass and the gun.
Quoted from Pinwizkid:I have 2 EM projects I was going to tackle later this year but might consider a 2 for 1 trade for an SS game depending on what's out there. The games are Williams Pit Stop and Bally Big Valley.
I'm also planning on having a fully shopped/upgraded players Firepower in the Free Play section for sale. Still putting the final touches on it. Could definitely use a hard top but has lots of new parts/repairs and love put in so far...
Don't happen to have an extra Backglass for that Pit Stop laying around, do you?
Quoted from 80spit:I'm probably bringing 5 pins all for sale but am not listing them and doing the parking lot deals, this is what will kill the show, way to many parking lot deals lately. I want to see my pins being enjoyed by all
One main reason some people sell ahead of the show, is its not easy for everyone to lug a game to the show. Its even more of a PITA if it doesn't sell and you have to lug it back home. I have a lot of respect for those who bring games to the shows, its not easy work.
Quoted from shacklersrevenge:But if Gargamel in his golf cart sees or suspects drinking, he’ll try to not only put a stop to it, but look in your truck and coolers like he’s looking for smurfs (had it happen)
And the icing on the cake is, if you tell him he doesn’t have a right to do that and to get lost, he’ll snap back at you “are you giving me lip!?” Like he’s about to make a big problem for you.
Ah. Only in Allentown.
I haven't seen him in a while, but he was the source of excellent entertainment in the past. He tried conducting a "search" of my vehicle one year lol. He almost went for a trunk ride...
Do you remember the commandant?
Quoted from TheBeefSupreme:Is that a “game over” screen on a recroom masters cabinet who I believe did recently go out of business? Ouch
Ha, didn't even notice that. Received it as a gift, but it's just not my thing.
Quoted from 1974DeltaQueen:Hard to find Retro Knickerbocker beer tray . 5 heavy thick pub beer glasses from the 70’s a 4 tall beer glasses. 25$ for all.

I like your style!
20220501_120957.jpgQuoted from yzfguy:Looking for an underpriced game with lots of mods and a colordmd that I can immediately flip at the show to pay for my entry fee and purchases.
I like your style
Still on the lookout for:
Williams "Pit Stop" backglass
Bally "Beauty" backglass
Parts for an "Alley Cats" bowler- metal covers for fluorescent lights near pins, smaller Plexi scoring backglass thingee, beer bottle pins... possibly more.
Antique slot machine stands
Altered Beast pcb
Also still on the lookout for the missing award glass for the slot I grabbed in the flea market last year... Longshot, but worth a try
20220504_083703.jpgQuoted from nocreditdot:Ill wear mine! I guess these arent cool anymore! Who cares? Gotta love extra pockets to put all the pinball parts in.
I seek out Abercrombie & Fitch cargo shorts from the 90's, only shorts I wear. You can fit twelve cans of beer in them
Everyone should thank me, I saved my "scorched earth" for the hotel room bathroom (where I'm currently laughing my ass off at the crop dusting posts, and listening to a marathon run of the couple next door...good for them). A buddy of mine cleared the bar we were just at with his, apparently, saved up "crop dusting event"... Everyone can also thank him for that, I threw up a little in my mouth...it was...that bad. As for the show, holy hell...we walked a good 50' gauntlet of vomit smell, just to grab a facial of severe crop dusting.... O, then the overpowering BO smell from a few ... Great show otherwise! Love the collective scents...Idea for next year, "aroma de Pinfest" candles...with a warning, "May explode when lit"
Quoted from too-many-pins:Just a quick THANK YOU to Ivan & his crew for another great show this year. I also want to thank everyone who stopped by and talked to me over the three days as well as a big THANK YOU to those of you who took some stuff home from my flea market booth.
I sold a ton more "little stuff" than I expected to sell and I was happy for that but I was shocked my Haunted House machine came home with me. I think the rain created a huge issue for people selling machines so most of the vendors I talked to took stuff home they were expecting to sell. It is tough selling 350 pound wooden boxes when it is raining heavy outside and these machines really do not like getting wet. So I fully understand slow machine sales but otherwise it was a great show all the way around.
Since we are basically "exiting the hobby" this will be my last year as a vendor at Allentown but I intend to set up at the York Show this Fall selling off the balance of machines we are thinning from the collection and the remainder of my parts inventory. So if you are planning to attend York watch for my post about stuff heading to York starting about a month before the show.
THANKS AGAIN to everyone! -Skip-
Thanks again Skip for the cool retro slot, she made it home to RI safely!
20220506_145552.jpgQuoted from fatality83:Made the trek Saturday and had a great time as always. I really enjoyed playing some of the EM's mainly Doodle Bug. That one will definitly be on the list for the future, the one there did not have a tag on it so not sure if it was for sale or not. The Bad Girls there was also fun to play and I liked the pink rubbers, really set it off. Got to play the Rescue 911 with the yellow T molding and it played great. Not sure if the flippers were rebuilt or what but it felt so new for such an older game.
Played Turtles for the first time and enjoyed that. Kinda sad the dancing dolls pinball I saw in other peoples Friday was not there Saturday as I was looking to making the old lady dance again. Of course had some of Dans BBQ hot wings which resulted in me having the urge to crop dust the show, but don't worry I held it in till I was in the car on the way home. Definitely smelled the smell quite a few times. The one time it actually caused the women on the machine beside me to leave because it was so strong. Also smelled the weed quite often. As always lots of interesting things to smell and see.
Picked up a the last sheet of glass I needed to replace and some mods. Had a great game on Rock. I was pleased with the amount of games left on Saturday and it seemed like there definitely was a lot more machines there that were not for sale which I think is a plus. Its so easy to bring a game you plan on getting rid of but much harder to bring one you are keeping. Glad to see the prices on the EM's haven't gone too crazy and hope they stay that way as I really want to add an old EM to the collection at some point.
Can't wait for the York show as I will be going to that both days like always as I live in York so it's a no brainer. Wished we had another show or two in between Allentown and York to dull the pain.
Isn't the York show in October? If so, Pintastic is next month, which would be in between.
Quoted from Ivan1496:Actually we put up with Mother’s Day weekend every six years. It’s not the first time.
Ivan
Not bad, I had to skip it for that reason the last time it was on mother's day weekend, but managed to make the drive this year. Thanks again Ivan for all your hard work! Best show around for the things I'm interested in!
Quoted from gdonovan:I appreciate it, apprehensive but it has to be done.
I had back surgery a few years ago after a work related injury (L5/S1), I was awake for the entire thing (quite awkward to say the least). It's a rabbit hole I didn't want to go down, but it was either that or forced medical retirement. Good luck!
Quoted from ForceFlow:Free test kits are available if anyone needs them: https://special.usps.com/testkits
My wife just came down with Covid for the second time. First time she took three "at home tests", all negative. Went to doctor, positive PCR. This time, took two home tests, negative. Saw her doctor, positive PCR. Had a few friends with the same situation. I hold zero faith in the home tests provided to us.
D'oh, missed some interesting chatter I see... Anyway, I'm "Vaxxed" (No boosters, second shot had me praying for a fast death), my buddy that was with me isn't (Vax could take him out due to lyme and other issues, so he's rolling the dice). We came out unscathed, but like I mentioned before, my wife is currently dealing with it for a second time. Definitely a weird virus...I was exposed consistently at work, tested weekly, nothing.
Anyway, any eyewitness sightings of the low life dropping stink bombs at the show? The show has enough smell issues without adding a D-bag to the mix. That individual definitely could have used a "swirly"...
Quoted from jrpinball:One of the highlights of the show for me was seeing this 78 year old guy finally landing his favorite game as a young man. He said he must have put $500 worth of nickels in it back in the day.
He was like a kid on Christmas morning! It really was great to see, and after we helped him load it, he was heading to a tavern to celebrate with a few beers!
[quoted image]
Awesome!
Quoted from DodgersFan32:Anyone interested in my big shit comes with delivery included in north east. Or can work with shipper. Check out the post on my page. Thanks
I assume it's epic. How's the ruffage? Kind of a niche market, but good luck. I do like your style!
