Sorry for the bad information. I got to Pinfest 11:40 and walked right in. Had a great time, and played a ton of fun machines .
What was the model of the Iron Maiden in free play ? It was a beautiful machine, and it played very nice !

Went yesterday and got there early, about 1, and had a great time.
While I hope this post doesn't get lost in the shuffle, the first thing I'd like to say is THANK YOU!!! to all the guys who made their games available for hacks like me to play. Especially the guys who marked "not for sale". Really cool of you guys to just put a game out there for no reason other than the enjoyment of others.
Being my first show, here are my impressions:
-Great community with lots of cool folks
-It had to be a sewer issue
-Lots of great games to play and stuff to buy
-I was surprised at how busy the show was as early as it was.
-I was also surprised at how fast some things were gone (glass)
-Some really good deals, some reasonable deals, and some guys who need a drug test
-There's no way it wasn't a sewer issue
-Hope some of the vendors that were on the 2019 list and couldn't make it this year can make it next year
-Guys who start a 4 player game on games with a line should be hung from the rafters
-Had to be a sewer issue. The smell was worse than the jerky crop dusters at gun shows
-Walking by the tournament area there were a couple of people playing who were channeling the Elaine dance from Seinfeld.
-Kind of bummed that more than a few games "sold" from the freeplay area were wrapped up and taken away
-If it wasn't a sewer issue, please go home and change your gerbil
Thanks again to the vendors, organizers and especially the people who brought games to play.

What about the monkey business pin?

sadly, as of Friday night at closing, ALL of these mechanicals were still sitting there...Maybe they will sell Saturday (I filmed them on Part One of my Pinfest video yesterday too) Todd
Quoted from JodyG:Met lots of Pinsiders yesterday! Show was way more full than last year for sure. Already lost my voice from talking to so many people yesterday, and now I'm up and ready to do it again. I'm now firmly into believing the crop dusting smell is a sewer issue...there is just no way someone could do that level of damage as often as I smell it.
I think I have 2 rolls of stretch wrap left, so stop by early if you still need one.
I also added a Ripleys and a Hook to my booth on free play...come enjoy them![quoted image]
ahhhh...the MOTORDOME, Jody!! Simply awful game...but what a beautiful new ramp you made for it!! Todd
Quoted from tdiddy:Right, Pat's or Genos are my go to
Those are tourist traps, any decent pizza place usually makes a good cheesesteak! YMMV

Jersey Jack pinball??? No where to be found??? I went yesterday and don't recall seeing a single Jersey Jack pinball machine. The event was great but disappointed that this was the first year since Jersey Jack Pinball was founded that there was no presence. What was up with that?
Quoted from SKORR_Arcades:I have the following for sale.
11-Feet of 3/4" Wide Yellow T-Molding (was going to use on my Simpsons) - $11
TSPP manual - $20
Playmates Comic Book Guy figure - $ 35
Playmates Kang and Kodos (loose - can be used as a topper) - $60
Mini rubber donuts - $10[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Manual and Kang/Kodos are SOLD.
Thank you.

Pinball Star is there and they have a GnR on the floor
I wasn’t able to make it Friday but will be trecking over shortly today.
Do people wrap up early on Saturday or on Friday? Just making sure .

It was a premium.
Quoted from zacaj:Anyone at the show have a spare Gottlieb score reel mech they'd sell?
Pat G is selling Gottlieb score reels that are set up on a table by the Bath Rooms in the flea market area.

Must have missed the pinballstar booth?
Jack is also there today
Quoted from NicoVolta:This is Max… Mr. Baumle, esq. Trying not to buy another game. I understand his dilemma.

Didn't realize it was him. You should have introduced him.
My three kids and I had a super great time.
There were more than a few very nice deals if you
could get there early and did some quick hunting…There’s a really nice Comet and a Silver Slugger in this 5x8 trailer too, I find five is the max if you Tetris.
I liked that cocktail table a lot, was only $775 and worked nice. Would have made a sweet retheme table.
I haven’t been too impressed with the remakes of the past, but Cactus Canyon changed my opinion, it’s super awesome.
Was also great to see so many regulars from all the years I’ve gone, and catch up with people I’ve done many past deals with.
Quoted from Williampinball:Does anyone know how much was the TAF is or is it gone now
Free play one? Was still there a hour ago. But says not for sale.

Thanks to some great Pinsiders my project queue has grown to epic proportions! Awesome show this year! Ivan and the crew did an excellent job and it was a great turnout for all parties involved.

I shopped, I played, I ate, I had fun today. Thanks for those responsible. Thanks to Marco's ladies for their assistance (I got Legs and know how to use them, cornbread girl). @Butches Bobs wife was a very helpful too, in the rain no less. Tilt gRaphics got a new customer and even provided explanations tips for installation. Voodoo glass looks great on my game! I got to play the rare Rick and Morty pinball and meet @sataneatscheese. I got to meet @forceflow. I played the new Stern machines that Cointaker brought. I want a Godzilla Premium. Maybe next year. The tournament area was really buzzing beehive of activity, with streaming live too. There were no foul smells, which I was grateful for. There were many accidents seen going to and coming home on Pennsylvannias finest roads in the blinding rain and flood roads. I saw a 4 car pileup just out of Philly. There were several cars that flat ran off the road and into the woods. I saw a near miss between a minivan and truck. The funniest was in the parking lot, where I saw two minivans with tail gates up ram each other in reverse. Can not wait till next one comes my way.
the first 5 games we tried, were on and not working,,,wasnt looking good,,,,,,then found a few that we never seen in the wild,,,bought some extra bulbs, flipper rubbers,,,a few signs,,,etc,,,,big part of the day was gettign to play catus canyon,,,,need to play it a little more and be able to hear it,,,looking like it will be our next game,,,,,, thanks to all that bought working,,,,free play games,,,,
Quoted from fstfish66:big part of the day was gettign to play catus canyon,,,,need to play it a little more and be able to hear it
The Barcade in Philly has one. If you can get there during lunchtime you'll be able to give it the business. Place gets crowded and loud at night.
Was there on Friday, joined by a son and grand daughter on Saturday. Had a spectacular time playing the games on Friday and buying arcane manuals, schematics and parts today.
Loved the EM's on free play. Played them and took lots of pictures.
People seemed very happy. Well done, everyone.
Quoted from Chalkey:At four points, watching the rangers game in the lobby with a cooler. Come down.
Haha, not a Pens fan. Thanks for the invite but I gotta hit the road.
Another great show.
Thank you to the vendors that always bring the newest games.
Thank you to anyone that brings games for the free play area!
Was great to meet some Pinsiders that I hadn't met before, and see again some that I know
My apologies for my Mousin' Around not working properly. I picked it up at the show and put it right on the floor. Unfortunately, it had some switch problems and unfortunately I was ill prepared to deal with the issues it had. For that I apologize. I took it home and paid my admission today.
Thanks to JodyG , MattG , SantaEatsCheese , ForceFlow , freddy , brucea1956
Hope everyone makes it home safely in the weather! Already looking forward to next year!
Chris
Hey folks,
I made my first Pinfest yesterday, and had a great time. My son and myself met a lot of neat people, bought some cool stuff and played a lot of pinball.
Good job to the organizers, they did a great job. I didn't buy a machine, but had a great time none the less.
I planned on going back Saturday, but so many machines left the free play area we didn't bother.
Can't wait till next year...
Bob
Show was absolutely killer and had a real pre-Covid vibe to it.
The only Allentown in recent memory where I didn’t feel like it was getting busted down in the early afternoon. If you paid to get in around 3 on Saturday I still think you’d have gotten your money’s worth.
I wasn’t buying / selling this time but it did seem like there were a lot of older games that were good value. I was told by a few that Saturday hardly anything moved. Maybe people were just beat down by the rain and didn’t want to move stuff around in it.
Free play was healthy and robust the entire weekend. Seemed like many great games across 70 years to try out. Tons of new games in the vendor bootHs for people looking for that stuff. I didn’t play any of the free play games but I toured many times.
Big ups to Cointaker and Mellisa for hooking the stern pro circuit Allentown tournament with a new in box avengers. It was rock solid out of the box. In two days of intense and heavy use, literally the only time we opened the glass was when I dropped the balls in. I was so impressed that I bought it.
The tournament was a huge success, we had tons of great feedback (and a little constructive criticism that we can consider at a later date) and it seems like we won many people over on the format. $1,000 prize went to defending Allentown champ Jason Zahler, with Levi Nayman taking a close 2nd (one Aztec spinner rip away from victory?), seemingly everything champion Eric Stone in 3rd, and pinball logics wiz Zach Frey scoring 4th.
It was nice meeting and talking with the many people who came back to introduce themselves to me.
I would encourage everyone to come to the show next year, and consider trying the tournament and/or bringing a game.
I would say about half the game bringers were not people who had played in a circuit tournament but most of them did decide to play and had fun.
Also, did anybody catch the spots on Channel 69 on Friday morning? Newsbabe Ali Reid learned about pinball and pinball Tournaments, got a pinball lesson from pinball software engineer and tournament assistant director Tim Sexton, and interviewed defending Allentown ladies champ Julie Dorssers
I’ll dig up the link later
These are all tournament area pics

Levi,
You ran a fantastic show. Thanks for your courtesy to my son and grand daughter. The pinball tradition carries on!
A lot of the EM's sold and were gone by 1 pm on Saturday.
Would enjoy seeing a few panel discussions on Sat in the tournament area before it begins. There were people I wanted to meet who have posted. I did make some terrific contacts.
Kids tourney on Sat morn because many can't miss school on Friday?
Quoted from DrDQ:Great show this weekend.

Best part of watching that is I now know how to say Levi's name correctly.

Thanks again for your generous donation support my flea spot. Greatly appreciated but you didn't have to do it. Enjoyed fretting with you over that OXO. Glad you pulled the trigger. Had a great show...happy you and Maureen shared some of your show with us.
Quoted from NicoVolta:Despite arriving Thursday during set-up, I was dismayed to see this was already sold. Alas. Worth every penny of the asking price!
Enjoyed meeting you and taking some time chewing the fat. Thanks for the kind words about the Flipper Clown . That game went to a good home in Ohio. Also thanks for helping me cattle prod your buddy to buy my Palooka. He got a good deal. Let's stay in touch!
