Quoted from Alan_L:I am bringing these two machines to sell in the Free Play area:
1966 Bally Bazaar - Zipper-Flipper game, beautiful playfield - $1395.
1973 Williams Gulfstream - single player, great first pin - $795
Oh, crap. Wrong page.

I’m thinking it’s gonna be packed in the indoor flea, all spots are sold. Only 30% chance of rain on Thursday, the other 2 days look good. Don’t forget to dust the donuts .

Quoted from tomdrum:I'm spending two nights in Allentown as a 1st time vendor. Can any locals recommend the best restaurant for seafood? Not Red Lobster style, but local joints? Also on night #2 a place with great Buffalo chicken wings, again not a chain.
I'm from the Lehigh Valley/Allentown area. Youell's is a great place for seafood. They always do it well. Henry's is also good, but my preference has always been Youell's. Neither is far from the fairgrounds/Pinfest at all. 5 minute drive at most. Knock-wood, I've never had a bad experience with Youell's oysters (it's what they do, it's in the name of the restaurant.). https://youellsoysterhouse.com
If you are looking for literally one of the best restaurants in America: BOLETE. But good luck getting a table and expect to pay a bit. Foodie experience though.

Does pretty much everywhere still have carry-out? I'm thinking good food at a picnic table somewhere is preferable to more indoor time as the weather is supposed to be spectacular. Open to ideas on a good park as well. Plus I'd like to minimize any potential to spread anything picked up at the show.

Anybody up for disc golf? Planning on taking a break from the show for a round or 2. PM me if you'd like to meet up.
If you are coming up from the south, gas up in Maryland. Prices are 20 to 30 cents more per gallon in PA.
Just had a pretzel wrap at the market...yum
Looks like most of the same market vendors are still there. I only noticed a couple of replacements and a few new ones.

If we had the time, my kids and I would have definitely done this. We just got into playing and enjoy it immensely.
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:Korean food at amish market across from show is awesome

Nice I was going to ask if they were still there!
Quoted from Gotemwill:According to the website the farm market requires masks? True?
No

I just had a horrifying experience there. I was eating and the man cooking at the wok starting fumbling in his mouth and then pulled out the top row of his dentures. He then went over to the sink and rinsed them off, licked a spoon, and then palmed his dentures in his left hand and then continued to cook like nothing had ever happened. After several minutes he went over and put them back in all the while still not washing his hands.
For those looking for a little break from the show Stooges across the street was excellent...good brews, nice staff, and good food.
Anything for the 420 friendly crowd going worth hitting up? Or anyone getting together post show Sat?
Quoted from TheBenk:Does this event have a tournament? Any streaming?
It did, but no streaming this year. Next year it probably will be.
Holiday InnExpress pancake maker shit the bed and the sausage was dry as F—- this morning. Yesterday the.bacon was excellent and the pancakes popped out if the little machine , they were good. The parking lot spaces are smaller not great for a fill sized truck. Noting this for 2022 which is only 9 months away!
For future reference: the Linx hotel bar at the Four Points is the karaoke spot in town on the weekends. The KJ is a jerk and they'll charge you $14 for a rocks pour, but, it's there.
**Updated Topic Title For 2022 Pinfest Show!**
Buying/Selling Topic for the show

Quoted from Hammerhead:Are the 2022 hotels setup to start booking rooms? Are there any preferred rates?
Tried the links on the Pinfest site, codes were invalid. Looks like nothing is updated yet.
Booked the Hilton Garden Airport for now, will keep it unless something better turns up. Stayed at Springfield suites last year, but seems to be $70+ more this time, pass.
Mainly interested in clean/safe, walking distance to a bar/restaurant.
Quoted from Irishbastard:Booked the Hilton Garden Airport for now, will keep it unless something better turns up.
Checked the Hilton Garden Inn just now and it shows $111.00 for May 5th and 6th. I think you're right, not updated yet.

Wingate quoted me $160
Last year I was a vendor for the 1st time. Used points for a free hotel stay for 2 nights. I had 2 video games and one pin presold. My friend who was sharing the space had a restored game to deliver. We each brought a game to sell. His sold mine didn't. Paid $850 for the Uhaul. When I booked a 2 night room now it's $335. The costs are making setting up at a show difficult. Fuel is way up. Makes doing the show again this year difficult.

I hear you. Seems like empty shelves and high gas prices got everyone counting the coins they already have.

You might have better luck with an Airbnb to save a few bucks and you’ll likely get some extra space.
FYI Days inn has set up a block. We are waiting on a link but you can call the hotel until this matter is resolved. They are offering 105/110 a night or something in that range for King or double bed. It’s 10 to 15 minutes from the show by highway mostly.
We will have our others as well as soon as we can.

Quoted from grantopia:Still looking to track down an Aurich ST translite...
I have an extra kit, but, minus the translite.
Quoted from Irishbastard:I have an extra kit, but, minus the translite.
Appreciate it, the translite is really all I want ha! I'd take a full kit but that's a deal breaker for me
Quoted from grantopia:Appreciate it, the translite is really all I want ha! I'd take a full kit but that's a deal breaker for me
Lol, that's why I have and extra setup, I bought the decal kit originally when they were first designed, with the hope I'd get a Stern ST someday...I did. Then I really regretted not getting the translite too. Fast forward a few years and he made a second run. Only option this time was a full kit with translite, so here I am lol.
Quoted from 1974DeltaQueen:Gas is climbing , Hotels are up. Still going but sucks the cost to go is getting pricey.
Stand by, it’s not that bad. Four Points is offering $139 a night. The link will be up soon. Holiday inn and express coming in a day or so.

Is there a reservation link? Or do we need to call? If so, is there a group rate code when we place the reservation?
