Looking for a Stern Stars if anybody has one. Thanks!

    Quoted from Tophervette:

Having never been before, what are the chances of a good shape empty Bally/Williams SS standard Cabinet and Head would be at the show? Or is it just working games? Which vendor would have a new Bally Lock Down Bar?

Are you after a specific style? I wasn't planning on selling the one I have, but on the other hand... I may not get around to the project I had planned for a while. Anyways its a bare cab, CFTBL. No hardware at all. Simply a mostly sanded down cab.

I signed up to bring at least one, but hopefully two or three games for the free play area. Just need to get some time to work on them before next week. Really looking forward to the show.

    Quoted from Arcadedl:

Not sure if I missed this or not - does anyone know if Marco Spec will be attending the show? They used to offer a free shipping deal for attendees that weekend.

They are listed on the vendor map on the website.

Space station plastics available. In the pic the three at the bottom right look NOS while the rest were used previously but in pretty nice shape. The one on the pops seems to frequently be missing and sought after.

Also have a buddy looking for a Future Spa back glass if anyone has one. Thanks

    Quoted from Gott_Lieb:

Someone was recently looking for a Future Spa BG.

Thank you! I believe they are linked up and we should have a deal setup.

Bringing these two for the free play area. If you see a dude in Chiefs hat or shirt feel free to say hi, or talk smack haha.

    Quoted from zacaj:

Is there a need to turn off games when we leave? I'd just left mine on when I went to the hotel for the night, assumed they'd cut the power to everything soon...

They cut off the rows all at once ya.

    Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:

Made out like a bandit. Got my wall hangers, traded for a Sorcerer, and Rick and Morty was rock solid and got 519 plays. Was shocked no-one bought by El Dorado at 2017 prices. Have someone local picking it up this weekend.

Great meeting you bud. Gotta get Black Knight set up now!

    #2016 2 years ago
Quoted from sbmania:Anybody know who makes the wooden half circle and scissors jack combo to help you put a pin on its back legs by yourself? There was one for sale for $100 on Sat but I hesitated and then it was gone...I got to thinking what a big help that would be to have!

If you track down someone selling them please let me know. I saw one in action when Nick helped me break down the game I bought from him. Such a cool pinball tool.

    #2052 2 years ago

For those discussing broken games, did you try to contact the owners? Cards with phone numbers were on many of the games. I get the feeling many folks just move on and figure the owner knows or someone else probably contacted them.

    #2055 2 years ago
    Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:

And on that note I rescued a stuck ball 6 times on that Black Knight without ever receiving a call or text about it. (Don't worry DudeRegular, it is not something that will happen in home play as it only happens when you don't pull the plunger back all the way... your new machine is rock solid for home use). The only reason I found out about the match play lights was because I asked someone if everything was working while they were playing.

Not worried a bit bud! The flipper issue you identified on the game you traded for was not made known to me. I was making the rounds and checking, but nobody let me know until you did.

My Stars was rock solid, but another game owner let me know that there were dollar bills jammed in the coin mechs from folks playing dollar games on it. They could have sent me a text to get their 2 bucks back lol!

    #2060 2 years ago
    Quoted from jrpinball:

In either case, you can't play them, and having someone under the hood practically the whole show is disruptive to those playing adjacent machines.

A super nice firepower was placed right between my two games. The owners were under the hood a bunch which did block my games a bit. Though I would rather see that than a nice game folks can't play.

    Quoted from luvthatapex2:

That was for tournament only at pinfest like several other games (Iron Maiden, Metallica, etc).

I think the one he pictured was a separate game that was towards the front at one of the vendor booths.

    #2073 2 years ago
    Quoted from Gotemwill:

Sorry, but flippers should not be acting like a rotating arrow bumper a la “Road Race”!

You seem to have an unhealthy obsession with a couple of non-functioning pinball machines that someone brought for others to check out.

    Quoted from PinballAir:

Did the $4300 ebd in the flea market sell?

It had a sold sign placed on it later in the day Saturday. No idea what it sold for.

    #2181 2 years ago
    Quoted from CrazyLevi:

That one I can't blame them for. I sold a Fish Tales topper for $500. 10 years ago.
They are certainly worth $800 now to the right person.

Toppers are big money these days. Good luck trying to find a whitewater or fishtales topper for cheap unfortunately.
