Remember the half ass “November” version of Allentown that happened once or twice?
Could be time to drag that puppy out of mothballs!

Remember the half ass “November” version of Allentown that happened once or twice?
Could be time to drag that puppy out of mothballs!
Quoted from docquest:I'll be eating this this weekend in honor of Allentown. I'm sure it wont be nearly as good as the real version I get at the farmers market every year during the show.[quoted image]
I always make a stop at that booth. THe old man is slow as hell and there's often nowhere to sit but it's worth it.
Quoted from Blackbeard:I don't know about the farmer's market. I've eaten there numerous times and always leave feeling like i have a layer of filth and/or some sort of bacterial colony setting up shop on me. Place is grimy imo.
Yeah it's not quite as nice as the snackbar inside the hall lol.
Quoted from SilverballSleuth:I think it’s safe to do so now.
It was safe to do it March.
Only in pinball are people unhappy to get refunds.
It sucks but he’s handling it the right way holding on to peoples’ money accomplishes nothing.
really nice original Harlem Globetrotters backglass - $150
really nice original Gottlieb Royal Flush backglass - $150
I don't check this thread too often if interested send me a message.
Quoted from Gotemwill:I’m betting everyone will be glad to get out of the house and play some games other than theirs! Hopefully it’ll also result in a course correction for game prices!
It won't. The only bubble Allentown is going to help burst will be from wads of hubba bubba chewed by the dozens of teenage girls at the show.
But Allentown has always been a good place to pick up games...maybe not the pride of the fleet or the pick of the litter but by the end of Saturday there's usually plenty of good deals to be had.
Shit is really heating up!!!
I think I'm bringing a Chicago Coin Cinema for free play / sale (I know only the best for you fuckers) - $900
May bring a very nice clean WWF Royal Rumble that needs a shop but plays fine (except a broken drop target)
$3300
Quoted from mrclean:Better deals on Friday Vs. Saturday pricing.... as someone who has an item for sale at the show do you reduce on Saturday ? Or try to hold out and hope you can sell at your listed price the following day ?! What’s your strategy ?!
Absolutely no way to know. Chances are, "good" deals will get picked off early...and at the end of the day (both friday and saturday, not everybody does both days) you may be able to get deals on stuff people don't want to bring back home. But don't expect the pick of the litter.
Quoted from PinballSTAR:Soooky’s ULTRAMAN will be in the PinballSTAR booth at Allentown Pinfest next week Fri 7/30 and Sat 7/31 !
And special guests Corwin ‘Bug’ Emery and 'Spooky Luke' Kastner from Spooky Pinball will be there to hang out with everyone…
The game will be broken down around 5pm Saturday so these boys can get back on the road for their 14 hour drive back to Wisconsin - so get there early !
Allentown Pinfest website - www.pinfestival.com
Hope to see you there ! Come support the show and play Ultraman !

Awesome
Derek finally gonna get that play video he wants !
Medusa blows wouldn't be too beat up about that fish that got away.
Someone made out real good on that Fathom though!
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:Here is the Medusa that sold for 900. Not mine. Number covered to prevent snipers.
[quoted image]
Good deal on a shitty game.
Hey I've taken that bargain many times.
Quoted from barakawins:Anyone have a Bally AFM or Tron Pro for sale tomorrow? PM Me.
People never bring shit like that to sell at Allentown lol
A-list wishlists for Allentown always crack me up.
Quoted from TurtlesFan:As someone who’s in the market for a royal rumble machine I’m crying seeing this.

Hey it’s just a playfield glass, brother!
Quoted from tomdrum:I also have 3 Bally BG lock down bars with replacement spacers for the pivot point. $25 each.
Yeah see this is the kind of shit I go to Allentown looking for not a TOTAN.
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:El Dorado marked down to $1500. Solid game! Get your first E.M.[quoted image]
This one's turning into a pretty good deal...don't make him take it home folks!
Quoted from Arcadedl:OH man...this seller was the one gripe I have at all with the Allentown show. He had a complete Fishtales topper...my eyes popped out of my head, as I am missing it on my game. Quoted price was $800 with no room to haggle, so I walked away. It looked a bit beat up too.
That one I can't blame them for. I sold a Fish Tales topper for $500. 10 years ago.
They are certainly worth $800 now to the right person.
I felt kinda bad about that topper sale, cause the buyer - a retailer who obviously needed it so he could sell a FIsh Tales for a retail price - was begging me for at least free shipping but morally and ethically I just couldn't bend to his will.
I'm like dude, I'm really sorry but if you are willing to pay $500 for a plastic and rubber fish, you'll obviously pay $40 to ship it. It just has to be this way.
He paid up. But he wasn't happy about it!
