I have not seen so many for sale in one shot before.

Exactly. Many of these people seem to want their new machine almost fully paid for via the sale of their original too
Quoted from tomdrum:By fold down, I meant the style where the head fold down on the lower cabinet like FG. 2 bolt holes in the base. I have an extra FG bare head.
Interesting, my Flash Gordon has 4 holes unless I'm missing something.

I'm not certain what games had 2 vs 4 holes but Medusa & Vector for example have 2.
Have a working DMD from a WPC game Id like to sell. No lines out no issues. Just changed for color. $70 cash at the show.
Quoted from tomdrum:I'm not certain what games had 2 vs 4 holes but Medusa & Vector for example have 2.
One other thing to note on Bally SS heads is that later heads (Centaur, Fathom) were 1" shallower from front to back than earlier heads (Playboy, Mata Hari). Possibly this was to allow the front to fit over the main cabinet when swung down on its hinge.

I swear I'm just going to make one from scratch. Any other time I'm tripping over the damn things for sale.

Looking at a Black Jack head you would appear to be correct.
Which isn't an insurmountable problem since the backs are often times trashed. Slicing an inch off the back and making a new rear panel isn't the end of the world. But if I'm going to that much work it is pushing me in the direction of a scratch built.

Got a link or more info on this?
For Sale:
Meteor playfield- Stripped of all parts and is decent shape. Would be a great restore candidate if you dont like the repros.
Skateball playfield- Basically the same as above. Slightly worse condition.
Used WPC DMD- No lines out works fine. Switched for color.
Make me an offer on any of it. Ill meet you at the show. Can send pics.
Mike
Is there info on the show that is NOT on facebook?
I know, the whole world is on Facebook, twitter, the others and Paypal, but not me.

Sadly, my reward points for the hotel change expired as a result of the pandemic/account inactivity.
I had enough points for a free night.
I am booked!

Depending on the hotel chain, you might be able to say you weren't travelling because of covid and get your points back. It worked for me with Wyndham Rewards.
It is Wyndham and I did send them an email saying just that.
I booked with them anyway because I like that hotel in Allentown.

I’ll second this. Hotels have lost so much business because of covid (work and personal). They’ll bend over backwards to keep a loyal customer, and if not don’t stay at that hotel group anymore.
P.S. I read three new posts in this thread so I was hoping to see buy sell trade posts (and be the first person to score a killer deal) not more hotel posts. Sorry that I’m contributing to the problem. Here’s a link to the hotel forum:

There is a separate thread for Hotel Talk, but this post does not upset me in the least. What I found at that location is that you need to get a room on the inside corridor away from 222. Those trucks roll by all night long and if you are a light sleeper you may not enjoy your stay.
Added over 3 years ago:This is for the Wyndham now Holiday Inn Junction of 222/78 South of Highway, not the one directly across from Dorney . It is now owned by Holiday Inn. Heavy truck traffic rolls by all night long.
Quoted from SilverUnicorn:What to bring for the free play area. I can only bring one machine, POSSIBLY 2 (because, reasons)..
Phantom of the Opera
Pinball Magic
Bad Cats
Dr. Dude
Possibly available to bring:
Johnny Mnemonic
World Cup Soccer
Airborne
Of those which would you like to see / play at the show?
Chris
Pinball Magic!

As usual our kits will be discounted for the show and we will offer free installation if your machine is available.

Woo Hoo. Just got flea market spaces, 1st time at a pinball show after attending Allentown for 17 years. Weatherbymag and I are using one and friends from Pittsburgh the other.
Really hoping for a good showing of woodrails this year. The 2019 show had lots of fun titles that were reasonably priced.
Still looking for a Gottlieb Auto Race and a Gottlieb Straight Shooter.
Quoted from ZNET:Here's the door I have available.

Sorry just checked I’ve got a triple chute door

The number of chutes is inconsequential, apart from aesthetics, particularly because these doors aren't exactly in plentiful supply. Why not just paint that one, though? It doesn't seem to have any major dents. It just needs a light sanding and some rust removal solvent.
Krylon aerosol (carbon mist color) is the best color match, plus a gloss clear coat, in my experience.

Here's 2 Bally doors I painted with Krylon aerosol (carbon mist color), plus a gloss clear coat. It's a good match to the original finish of the door and legs.
20210502_233509 (resized).jpgI have 2 full size upright video games I can bring if prepaid. These came from the last arcade in State College, PA 15 years ago called Playland.
Galaga- doesn't start, bought an extra set of boards. Have a new control panel overlay for it. Needs restored. Solid cabinet. $400
Donkey Kong. Boots and plays. Some sound missing. Suspect needs caps on the boards. Played perfectly for years. Cabinet missing graphics but solid, new T molding. $500
PM for pics.

Quoted from Snowtrooper:Looking for a 1984 Gottlieb Touchdown project machine or head. Thanks.

In addition to this, I am also looking for a 1984 Gottlieb The Games project machine.
May bring a flipping project Star Trek that is shopped but needs some switch adjusting.
I think 1 rollover isn’t registering and 2 stand ups aren’t either.
MSG me if interested in pics. Playfield is worn and cabinet is imperfect but flips and backglass is very nice.
1500 obo. Will continue to work out the kinks.

I just realized that I'm in the wrong Pinfest thread. . .no hotel talk. ;>
These are some of the titles I'm looking to buy. If you have one you could bring please shoot me a PM. Thanks.
Andromeda
BMX
Hoops
Striker
Black Belt
I need to add a Bally EM to my lineup. Maybe, Bow and Arrow, Op-Pop-Pop, Joust, Star Jet, Safari, Bowl O, See-Saw, 4 Queens, and Hang Glider. Of course I would be interested in any of the low production Bally EM's. I will have room for two if the deal is to good to pass up. PM's are best to start with.
