The game sold for $1300. forceflow what was glitchy about it?
skyemont just fully shopped the game, “ready to roll”[quoted image]

Interesting as I thought it needed a shop job ....

    - Disc didn't spin (I know doesn't effect gameplay)
    - Displays were dim
    - 3rd and 4th player displays had segment problems.
    - Top pop bumper was weak
    - General weak pop bumpers action bouncing between
    - Half way through 4 player game, a 2nd ball went in shooter lane which totally confused her as the player # advanced when the 1st ball drained then the other ball in play was the next player. You couldn't help launching both balls at once.
    - Top kick out hole was weak
    - Got down to black hole once and no problems

Did the Walking Dead with the dmd in the apron sell? I’m interested if it didn’t

One heck of a show for me. I started out Wednesday afternoon with a total of 25 machines between pinball & arcade machines. Just got home tonight with everything sold including my Harbor Freight lift table & my handtruck. We didn't come home empty because I made a couple trades and one of the "trade machines" came home with me as well as a couple parts machines & some parts playfields.

As far as the line on Friday - I feel really bad that happened but knowing Ivan it will likely be fixed next year. Ivan, Rich & Gabe all do a hell of a job running their shows and are constantly looking for ways to make things better. Thankfully all three of these guys work very hard to make their shows as good as they can be. As was stated earlier these shows happen because of the hard work of a few people. "Shit happens" - everything isn't always going to be perfect but thankfully it is rare for an issue to happen more than once.

To Ivan & his crew - great job again this year. To Gabe - best of luck with Pintastic (hope to see ya this year!) and to Rich York isn't that far away so I'll be starting to get stuff ready as soon as we get back from vacation in June. Also don't forget about ForceFlows show this Summer if you live in or close to NY.

    Quoted from 1974DeltaQueen:

I’m disappointed with the whining and bitching . Ivan works his ass off to do this for us . I shook his hand and thanked him for his efforts. It’s an awesome show . I waited in line my first year and then realized there were better options. Since then I’ve always brought games or vended or both to support the show . If you want to get in early and not wait in line, there are some other choices you can make. There are regulations and fairgrounds policies that the show must abide by, it’s not as simple as adding another cashier . Peace out . I hope everyone had a great time, I sure did. Can’t wait for 2020.

For a 1st timer from Illinois going to Allentown, the wait in line was well worth the experience I got. What a great show you guys have here in the NE. Thanks Bryan, Ken, and the Illinois crew for introducing me to everyone. Farmers Market is amazing! Dave H

Just wanted to say thank you to the show staff and organizers.

Some of you in the venue prior to show open on Friday may have seen the broken glass around my seawitch. My first break in nearly 15 years!

The site staff were excellent and on it right away. They helped me get it cleaned up really quickly while I got a little first aid for a minor cut and then proceeded to go buy a new sheet.

Unfortunately that machine seemed jinxed on Friday and really tested my patience, but the people running the event made it a lot less stressful than it could've been. I hate having a dead game on the floor so I'm glad the machine was still able to be enjoyed for a good portion of the day.

Plus 1, I can't imagine the stress involved with doing a show of this size. Kudos to Ivan and the crew.

And it was a great, probably the best Pinfest so far. My buddy came with 2 games and left with 7! I scored a project Xenon from Pete and received tons of praise and admiration for F2K on display. And I also found to good parts for future restos.

Anyone who may have purchased a T-shirt that may have an extra one please message me. I will buy it off of you. They were sold out and my 9 year old son really wanted one.

I was surprised they had nothing for sale today along those lines. A lot of potential profits were missed.

    #2012 4 years ago

Thanks everyone that brought a game and helped out. This was my first pinfest show and I had a blast. Met Jiggly Martin and bought a game from him. Great guy and very honest seller. Got lots of mods and parts and played a lot of pinball. Thanks to Ivan for putting on this show. As someone who is involved in putting on a large car show on the east coast, I recognize all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes . You can never make everyone happy but it was a great show. I will be back in 2020. See everyone at White rose Game show in October

Make me an offer on dolly, supersonic, Ali, checkpoint and kiss!

I would have easily bought ali for what you wanted for it (1300) if you would have given me a price before the show when I messaged you and I would have left it there on freeplay till Saturday night. But you wouldnt tell anyone prices before the show because "it's not good for the show " oh well instead I went home without a game and you got to drag it back home.

In prior years there was a problem with people buying games and turning them off, by Saturday many of the games were pulled or off. This year that was much better, so kudos to the owner for sticking to his guns.

I told him in the message I sent befor the show I would leave it there on freeplay for the whole show. I have no issues having a game at the show on freeplay till the end of Saturday. I'm still in allentown now as I write this. Just packing up the truck to head home.

I wanted to give thanks to everyone who brought games- Fireball, Alien Star and Bad Cats were our clear favorites.

Alien Star was great fun; fast flowing playfield. I thought Fireball was also great, my wife didn't think so even though she beat my score on that one, had a few bad skips on the ball but thats how it goes.

Glad you enjoyed the Bad Cats (I brought that). Unfortunately mine could only be there on Friday, but it got 204 plays in one day! With the exception of the seafood wheel not always spinning, it held up well (as far as I know).

Thanks to ALL who make this show happen. Ivan, the staff, the vendors, and the people who bring gamees!

It's too bad you showed up unprepared for the show. Maybe you'll make some different choices next year.

There were definitely quite a few unprepared Canadians this year. Many were asking me to take PayPal, or a bunch of other funky payment methods. I'm a cash on the glass kind of guy.

I did notice the wheel not spinning once or twice but it did not detract much from the game. It was fast and fun, the call outs and sounds had my wife in stitches. The nod was given if I should happen to find one for our collection which is rapidly growing.. again.

It was a popular game, a few times we circled back around to wait till people were done playing it. There was lots of other games to try out!

thanks to whoever brought their bad girls, it was great for me to play and reminisce on since I sold mine. Looked good with the led's. If anyone on here is the owner of the star pool em. They had it for sale at york last year and it was there again for sale at allentown. If you are on here I would like to buy it off you if you still have it at the york show in october

Great show, thanks to all that made it happen. One complaint...vendors, bring more XL shirts! Who in this hobby wears small? LOL. I always forget to pick up shirts until I leave and XL always sold out..

We'll my buddy brought back all my US money so back in the drawer it goes, to keep building up for next year, where I can assure you it'll get spent "cash on the glass". I applaud your stance actually....I want to see and play a game before I commit, and the few I've sold I tell folks they need to play it before I'll sell it to them.

Mitch - Nice to have seen you at the show, along with your Canadian brethren.

    #2029 4 years ago

Show was definitely busier than last year. Good to catch up with people I saw.

    Quoted from PinballAir:

Since it is clear that 30% or more of the games are sold and removed before Saturday,

That is grossly exaggerated. A decent amount of games might be sold, but they are not removed. If 30% or 1/3 of games were gone by opening time Saturday morning, you would see tumbleweed rolling down the aisles and the place would look empty.

I didn’t get there this year until Saturday at around 10:30am, and there were “some” holes in the aisles where games had been taken out. Nowhere near 30%.

    #2030 4 years ago

    Impressions on games...

Many well maintained and restored games to play. Awesome that those people put them out there. Bunch from Bundy, Ivan and Draino I think.

Instead of the same old games, saw some I never saw before. Dragon (2 if them!) Trident and some others that were rare to see.

    Of the new games:

The most impressive was Alice Cooper...which was shocking to me as I have not been impressed with Spooky games I have played before. Never saw a TNA but the games before just seemed like hobby games....ACNC was really polished, great art, design (multiple ways to lock the ball), an upper playfield that doesn't suck, great ramps and wireforms...great animations. So much fun!

Wonka was a little underwhelming. The music and call outs we're annoying, the art package a little to clippy for me and it just seemed to be missing something. I loved the LCD animations and clips but the play was just ok. I didn't see much of the light show I was told was there but maybe I didn't do so well and didn't see much? The flippers were weak but still could make the shots. I still may pick one up but the more time that goes on the more I think I may pick up a Dialed In to get my Pat Lawlor fix.

Thunderbirds...lol..that art is so bad it's kind of good. The game shot a lot better than. I expected..like a Data East feel to it. I liked the moving stand up target...when's the last time that was done?

BKSOR - fun, fast..but bare game. Nice for location play but can't see myself getting one for the home.

MMR ... Meh. I think the lighting detracts from the game. Scoop seemed harder to hit than my original I had.

Last year's new game, Iron Maiden, got the most play for me. That game and ACNC were the most fun for me.

I agree 100%. A lot of people say that game is a clunker, but if you’re throwing bricks it’s not the design, you’re just not making the shots. Pin shoots smooth, so much more on the playfield than other Spooky games, and I think it’s a great game.

Thanks to all the people that attended, the promoter and staff and our team.

It was great seeing old friends and making new ones. Hope to see you sooner than October ( York show).

I had only one pin that came home (Whirlwind) and still have the following that did not make it to the show :

NIB Black Knight Swords of Rage pro
    Wcs94 project
3 Ems ( Tom Tom,Sing along, Dodge City)
    Rock
    Cue Ball Wizard

    #2033 4 years ago

Show was fun as always. Played a lot of older games I hadn't seen before. Brought down a stack of cash and sold my games for more cash, but didn't see anything interesting that wasn't overpriced

Some really nice games on the floor, many that I thought were either hard tops or cleared, couldn't tell. Also a lot that barely functioned. Flippers I have a hard time believing they were even attached to the playfield, flippers clearly misaligned, etc. A lot of games sitting with no credits too. Really wanted to play that trident and volcano but they were never playable when I came by.

Thanks to whoever brought that bad girls. I enjoyed one last year and after playing this one it's now firmly on my want list.

Thanks so much for all the positive support at Pinfest! Met so many friendly and interesting people.
I have only 2 left of the 11"x17" PinFest Alien poster, and 20 left of the 14"x20" WitchDoctor Pinfest poster (the same art that was on the t-shirt). Signed and numbered. They are limited to 50, and 30 respectively. If interested you can grab them here: https://www.flylanddesigns.com/shop/

Did the Williams " Straight Flush " sell? I'm curious, because a guy gave the seller a deposit. He said if he can find someone at the show to restore it,he'd buy it.
The game was pretty nice looking too.

The Lock is Lit crew had a great time this year, and we had a lot of people stop by our booth and chat, which was very nice! Too bad my Close Encounters didn't sell, but oh well. It did make it thru the show like a champ, with zero downtime! Can't wait until next year!

Photos of some of the more unique pins that appeared at the show. That Wonder Woman re-theme of Lectronamo was stunning. It was really interesting how the backglass and plastics were reworked for the theme.

Photos of some of the more unique pins that appeared at the show. That Wonder Woman re-theme of Lectronamo was stunning. It was really interesting how the backglass and plastics were reworked for the theme.

I had breakfast with Wonder Woman Friday morning found out she’s a Canuck.

Anyone know if either of the Joker Pokers sold(one was not for sale), I'm interested in either one of them.

The one that was for sale was in some kind of trade deal and headed to Florida.

Did aye e rent a Uhaul van and for how far and what was the cost? PM me if you want it kept private

I rented a UHaul 5x8 enclosed trailer. Towed it from Salem, NH leaving it at Allentown UHaul dealer. Cost me $79 because 1 way. Would have been $18.99 a day (I had it 2 days) but it sucked down a lot of gas and patience. $79 was worth it to me.

The vinyl and brass on the head would have been my only complaint, it was a little out of place.
