Quoted from Whridlsoncestood:

90 miles to go. Through all the traffic now.
New GTi is a trooper!

Hey Jim, hope to see you there. I'm interested in your thoughts on the GTI and any research you did prior to purchase (and where, if a good dealer). My wife really wants one but I'm on the fence.

Looks like it can haul a pin with the head removed? Any fold down love?

Picked up a sweet Trail Drive Pinball at Allentown show on Friday night...Now I have it set up at home..Thx Ivan it's a great Pinball and it was priced great..Thx for all your help..

Umm, wow! That is some, er, interesting art on that game! That 10 point rollover should be a super jackpot IMO!

Quoted from twenty84:

Joe Balcer asked me if I was going to buy it now - I said "no, it's too easy." But in all seriousness I just got very lucky on my first game, and it was a blast to play.

What was the score? I played it a couple times myself. Only got to 80k on my best game but missed an extra ball/multiball opportunity. I think I could have scored big with an MB and EB, but what's "big" on Houdini?

Quoted from djreddog:

Both Dialed In's had dimples as well.

Quoted from JeffF:

And so did Alien.
(not that it bothers me in the least...)

And so did every other game. Ever.

Quoted from Irishbastard:

There was a Chicken Cock sign and I missed it???!!!! Crap! I'm one of the "pervs" that looks for suggestive crap...

The EM "Trail Ride" may be right up your alley. Certainly someone's alley.

Quoted from Whridlsoncestood:

Some fold down love but not a lot of them. I'll PM you my thoughts. I'm loving the car coming from my tdi wagon which was a major pin hauler for me.

Thanks. Sorry I missed you! Sounds like you had some great games at the show! I spent all my time playing this year and not much socializing. So good and bad.

Mark, I know. I'm really bummed I didn't see you yesterday. I meant to roam the floor and find people and hang out and I kept getting sidetracked by games I wanted to try. I wasn't feeling too great either. Drank some bad beer the night before and was a little off all day. I didn't even enjoy my Vietnamese at the farmers mart.

I did put up a GC score on one of the BM66's though. 510M. Is that any good? Got my initials on three games during the day, so that was cool.

I think we need to have another local party. Get some people together.

Quoted from mike-k:

Hi Corey, I had the same LAME experience you had, No Brains at the front desk! LAMEST say at any hotel EVER. Ever since they became part of Choice the place has been Horrible! I will never say there or any other Choice hotel again!

I've found that a polite, non-combative and coherent letter to the CEO of the offending company (is it Choice in this case?) can make an impact. "CC" other relevant parties, like the CEO of Comfort Suites in particular and the GM of the specific hotel you stayed at. If you are clear about what happened, clear about what you want and clear about any planned recourse (small claims court, contacting the BBB or local media, calling your credit card company, boycotting the hotel and encouraging others to do so, etc.) I'll bet you get an engaged response.

The two main horror stories posted here are truly awful and indicative of gross incompetence and mismanagement. You can bet your ass that the head of the company will be very interested. You've already convinced me not to stay at this particular CS location and I'll remember these CS stories when faced with future hotel choices anywhere else too.

Everyone loses here, unless and until the CS at least tries to make amends with those that had to endure this total BS experience.

Maybe Lawler can update the code of DialedIn to include the "Disaster in Allentown - Mayhem at the Comfort Suites!".
