Fingers crossed that pricing on machines will be within a reasonable range this year

Quoted from Pinball_Nate:Might as well post some "looking fors"...............
Meteor, Flight 2000, Surfer, Skateball, Laser Cue, Jungle Princess, Firepower, Space Shuttle/Station, Old Chicago
We have extremely similar taste in titles lol. I need two on your list. Just sold two of the other a few weeks ago.
Quoted from Pinball_Nate:Yes! I talked to you before - ever find that Meteor yet???
You were the Shuttle and Firepower guy correct??
Yes, found two in the past few weeks, way over priced. Correct I was the SS and FP guy.
Quoted from tbanthony:Is there going to be anyone at Allentown that does board repairs? Looks like I need U16 replaced on my Stern SAM POTC CPU/Sound board. I'm not good enough at board work to handle this SMT component.
Otherwise, anyone in the area?
I Pm'd you!!
Quoted from SilverUnicorn:I love a good auction personally, but have been shafted by shill bidders so much they are rarely fun for me anymore.
Chris
I agree. The buy backs and shill bidding have gotten out of hand over the years and myself, along with quite a few other collectors that I have known for years simply stopped going because of those two reasons alone. Eventually attendance will get so low that the auctions may cease to exist. A hard lesson to learn and you simply cant make money if no one shows up.
Quoted from Hammerhead:What happened to speaking about pinball?
Looking for:
- Qbert's Quest
- Gottlieb Atlantis
- BTTF PF & ramps (good condition candidates for swap)
I have a friend in Baltimore MD who has an Atlantis that he'd be willing to sell. Not sure if you are willing to go that far though and i'm not sure if he plans on attending the show.
