Pretty sure his comments was a joke based on the clothes under the machine.
In no way was he making fun of you, your friend, or the quality of that game.

Just broke one of the stand up switches on Hollywood Heat.
Is that a common enough item that somebody will be selling them at Pinfest? Really hate the thought of paying shipping with the show less than 6 days away
Quoted from shacklersrevenge:show me a picture of which
It's the standard switch used on most 80/80a/80b games. Part No. in the manual is 20867
As you can probably see from my pic this game is a beater so no concerns about color matching. Even a used switch would work
This is what it looks like in the PBR catalog

Can anybody hook me up with Leon's or Andre Boot's test ROMs for system 6? Willing to compensate for time and materials if necessary
This is going to be my first attempt to bring an MPU back from the dead. Goal is to get it working, fallback plan is to purchase a Rottendog if i fail. Really just want to avoid having my work featured in the 'Worst hack/repair you ever saw' thread
Thanks,
Rich
Quoted from djreddog:Uh oh, conflicting stories. Got me worried now!
Are you worried about taking games up or bringing them home? i should have room for another game on the way back and i could get it as far as Wilmington ( i am 2 miles from the booths corner farmers market where you play the Metallica) plenty of safe storage if you need it.
I am going to IM you my cell#, trying to introduce myself to all Delaware Pinsiders this trip
I really enjoyed the show. Definitely felt like more games available than last year - wish I could've stayed longer
Picked up a project Gorgar from shacklersrevenge , it needs help but it's all there and should be a nice challenge.
Finally met djreddog who is fast becoming the voice of Delaware pinball and maintains the DE pinball map
Got a few used stand-up targets gifted from yfz450 that allowed me to fix my Hollywood Heat on the cheap. Thanks!
tonyd2084 was nice enough to burn me a system 6 test rom. Hopefully it can be put to use after I build my bench
Also had a chance to meet Mark_in_PA , never hurts to know another Pinsider that only lives a mile away
Quoted from jrpinball:Delaware gets $4.00 for their big10 mile stretch of interstate highway.
It's actually closer to 23 miles so you are getting a bargain and didn't even know it
