Quoted from sohchx:We have extremely similar taste in titles lol. I need two on your list. Just sold two of the other a few weeks ago.
Yes! I talked to you before - ever find that Meteor yet???

Added over 7 years ago: Let's add Globetrotters and Evel Knievel to the list.............
How about some posts about what you hope to PLAY at the show?? I know people are wanting to find a deal, but these shows also offer a great opportunity to focus on titles you think you might want to purchase in the future.
Nothing sooper rare for me, but my interest has been piqued for the following games:
Centaur
Globetrotters
Evel Knievel
Jumping Jack
Grand Prix
Surf Champ
Stern Playboy
Judge Dredd
Skateball
JackBot
Mousin Around
Fastbreak NBA
Atlantis
Future Spa
Jungle Lord
Secret Service
Quoted from DRDAVE:I can bring my restored JUMPING JACK to the show if prepaid prior to show:
$2,200

That's a beauty!! I watched that video and thought "Now THAT's how an EM should play" Most EM's at the show are not nearly as "lively!!"
Quoted from VectorGamer:Rob Zombie (I have yet to play it - either there's a long line or the machine is broken)
Don't expect too much!! Was surprisingly dull and hard to understand what is happening............ IMO
Quoted from DRDAVE:I've got a complete Globetrotters avail. Boards look good but I haven't tested the game yet.
PM sent
Damn, everybody wants Meteor (can't blame 'em - me too!!) and there's a few Old Chicago's up for sale - is that a sucky game, or.........I've heard that it's fun - looks like 1,000 is the going price for that one?
I have an empty SpyHunter backbox without the door I could bring if anyone wants it. Nice shape
Still wanting to work out a deal for a project Globetrotters or Evel with decent boards..............nobody???
-Nate
Quoted from Gritty:Looking for a Flash Gordon Will be bringing the following games for sale or trade. Lets make a deal!
Fishtales
Banzai Run
Meteor

Possibly need a person from Baltimore (county) area to bring a pin back with them - I may have scored TWO machines and think I can only fit one into my Matrix. Anyone going to have room coming back???
-Nate
Quoted from spfxted:Hi Nate! Time to rent a van....
Might have to - the wife said she might drive up her Matrix as well to fit 'em both - we're "Matrix Twins" I wanna be sure to hay "hey!" when I'm up there - I look pretty much the same...............been too long!!!
Quoted from yzfguy:Let's do it Saturday...Boozlebob will be gone!
Yes, that sounds like an excellent idea - Should be Friday, how about for a lunch trek over to the Farmer's Market??? Would like to meet all you crazy people!!!
-Nate
OMG! Wow, that Lectronomo playfield is a beauty! Amazing that this AND a decent machine is up for sale at the same time.
Actually a fun, if simple game................
Is there anywhere remotely covered for the loading/unloading of games near the building??? I'm bringing a dry change of clothes - yuck!!!!
Had a blast at Allentown, was shocked at how many good deals there were on machines - loved seeing the "EM Row" and being able to check out a bunch of titles that were on my "want to play/maybe own someday" list. LOVED Stern 9 Ball and wanted to buy, anyone come home with the one on the last row near the loading dock?? That played like a champ!! Incredible how many Stern pins were there, Freefall (isn't that kinda rare? looked great and liked the speech, too bad I didn't know the rules better), BigGame, about 4/5 Meteors, 2 Nine Balls, Stars, Galaxy - Wow!
Enjoyed Grand Prix, Skateball (love that artwork - sounds are waaaay funky/weird though!), Volley, Ice Fever (great), the EM with the goofy giant soccer player smack dab in the middle of the pf, that Dr. Who was incredibly annoying, is the ability to turn off that Dalek sqwaking voice an option???
Funny story, I've been looking for Meteor forever (well, a while) and hooked-up to buy a project at Allentown, got there met the guy, paid, loaded - pay to get into the show, and there are like 5 Meteors all set up and running, for sale for about 200 dollars more than what I paid. DOH!!! That was a laughable "in your face" kinda moment - who woulda thought???
I have to apologize for not meeting rickzilla or a few others, I couldn't hear my phone in the racket and had trouble with my phone anyway, so just gave up on trying to call while at the show.
Thanks everyone for putting on the show, it's a hell of a lotta work, and appreciated.

No one said "hello" to me either, had my badge on - maybe we should do a "rouges gallery" of Pinsiders so we can ID with faces ........ I actually didn't see too many badges - maybe it's just the "pinball overload" that hits everyone once they walk into a room full of pinball machines!!!
Quoted from arcademojo:I wore mine last year and people just looked at me funny and kept walking. Didn't wear it this year.
In did run into forceflow and once again his knowledge of games help me out and I found the right part. Also got a chance to see my old Spy Hunter pin that lovef2k brought back from the dead. Picked up a really nice Mata Hari backglass also.
Maybe people are shy, after all, we are all game playing introverts right? haha.... I did notice "GateCrasher" but I couldn't get him to stand still long enough to say "hey." My wife said she spotted quite a few of you guys with badges.........maybe York I'll try harder to focus on people and not machines.........Saw that SpyHunter, good job!
Quoted from Adrift:I wonder if we can't get a couple spaces in the back corner for next year and set up a Pinsiders only lounge area. We could have refreshments available, a place to sit and relax, and even as a meet-and-greet area for Pinsiders. Just a thought....
That's a *GREAT* idea, I bet some of our wives would volunteer to man the area as well - hell, people could also bring parts, etc for sale. We could start planning to do this for York and see how successful it is??......................
Did anyone buy that project Secret Service or that Globetrotters in the back corner? What were they going for?
Was bummed SS wasn't working, wanted to give that a try - man, those early DataEast machines feel so solid! Noticed that about Robocop.
Also that Globetrotters in the free play area, I wanted badly to try that but it looked like a broken down car sitting in a car graveyard each time I passed it!!!???
-Nate
Scott S and Gatecrasher - that's something to forget pf parts! Everyone talks highly of the game so I really want to try it out. I'm old enough to remember seeing that bunch of HG's that the machine features - loved them was I was a kid.
WeatherbyMAG, great machines! Love the Super-Flight artwork (and Space Odyssey and.........)!
Bluespin, thanks for the info - glad that GlobeTrot found a home.
Quoted from spfxted:She came up to me too and said that. I looked down at her from 6'4 up and said, "Do you REALLY want to mess around with 250 pounds of pure sexual thunder........bitch?!" She just ran off......
Then I woke up!
Oh Gawd!!
Quoted from Gatecrasher:This sucker is mint.
Wow!!! Now THAT'S a Harlem Globetrotters!!!! Just a bit nicer than the one on freeplay at Allentown
-Nate
Quoted from Otaku:Brought this beauty home
Loved that Team One! Great purchase - hopefully you've got it jacked-up a bit more so it plays faster, was a little sluggish at A-town.
