Andromeda.....whoa.....WAY too cool!!
I'll be at Allentown on Friday between 11am and 3pm (attending only) and I'll be bringing the following two items:
1. Zizzle Pirates of the Caribbean that I bought for my nephew who has outgrown it. All original and packed in the original factory box. Game worked fine until the usual shooter rod ball loading mechanism issue occurred (can be fixed with screw/glue/etc.) Here's the deal, I am not going home with the game, therefore best offer gets it by 2pm Friday. If you know how to fix it, this will be a great buy for someone. Clean game from a clean non-smoking home.
2. Original backglass for Gottlieb King of Diamonds in used condition with usual flaws. Can be restored or o.k. for artwork. Asking $25.00, I have it in a box safely packed.
Both are packed in the truck and ready for Allentown. Message me if interested/questions.
Thanks!
One more thing, I will be bringing a very special treat tomorrow.(besides my girlfriend) Stay tuned....
Looking for anyone with CAPCOM parts to bring to the show. I am also looking for capcom side rails, hinges and lock down bar. PM me if you have any parts and price. I am planning to be at the show both Friday and Saturday.
Thanks.
Made a deal with bluespin to buy his Getaway, picked up the uhaul trailer.. 40 minutes into our drive I get a email that John decided to keep his game.. That blows, dropped the trailer off and back home... Cancelled my reservation as well at Ramada if anyone needs a room. There was a cancellation fee so Uhaul and Ramada at least got some money. oh well, part of the hobby i guess. Would have been my first show, maybe next year. Enjoy everyone!
I have one more set of pinball play-field rotisserie left and can pack to bring to the show. It is solid constructions, comes with one parts tray as shown in picture. Aluminum and Stainless Steel construction. Price is $350. PM me if you're interested.
Thanks.

You should still come. I'm starting a rumour that there will be a Canadian pinball party at the Ramada.

Nice!!! Hmm, thinking. Won't need a trailer so that's one good thing.
Quoted from LBJ:Yeah definitely come anyway, it's a great show! I'm sure you'd find something else to buy!!
Seriously.... Come on down. There's always a ton of games up for grabs. I'm 100% sure you'll find another there or something better.
I don't recommend bringing your wife, significant other here....Mine has pointed out so much in this hotel room that I normally ignore on a "guys trip" that I'm ready to sleep in the car....Sigh....

Thankfully my girlfriend is on the other side of the fence. I'm sitting in a meeting today and she sent me a text "I'm looking forward to tomorrow, can't wait!!" I just smiled.
She was also going to PAPA this year with me and got the flu 4 days prior and she was thoroughly bummed she missed it.

Yea, our water is brown, room smells like a casino...floor has not been vacuumed in, what appears to be years...stains all over everything, front of tub fell off (had to shove it back on), caulking on tub is three colors of mold, paper towel frozen in fridge, and mysterious bites on my arm that I'm hoping are not what I think they are.....
Quoted from djreddog:Anyone own a Honda Odyessey? Possible to get 3 pins in the back?
Yes. Head will have to come off one of the pins to fit two side by side. Third pin fits sideways behind front seats.

Please please tell me you're not staying at the Comfort Suites

Sweet! Thanks for that info!

Want me to lie? Told the wife to suck it up and drink, like me....It's a two star hotel, not a five star resort.....O, and supermarkets sell beer now down here! Good selection at Weis
I just got home from the fairgrounds. There are plenty of machines there this year. I brought two myself. I played the Aerosmith pin. It's pretty-awesome. The show looks like it will be just as big as it was last year (maybe a little bigger). Tons of machines for sale.
I will be delivering parts to those of you who ordered some for the show and will have a limited supply of extras too. If anyone needs any give me a call. If I run out I can always go get more from my house which is only 3 miles from the show.
I had some barbeque ribs and a milk shake at the farmer's market across the street for dinner. Awesome stuff.
Just got back from set up. Looks like a great show in the making. There's a crap ton of games for sale and free play. I've got a volcano and pinball magic for sale . Stop by and take a look!

Man my comfort suites room looks awesome. They even left me a sixer of pinball ale!

Or pintastic

Is it a promium?
Well, they kicked everyone out for the night, but in summary:
The number and variety of games so far is really good. Some common favorites as well as interesting and rare titles.
I got a chance to see Houdni up close, and it looks interesting. The line for that one will probably be as long as the line for TBL has been when that game was being shown.
There is also quite a bit of stuff and project games set up at the flea market.
I was impressed with what I saw tonight. Good amount of machines in the free play area already. To me it seems like the vendor area has significantly more recent releases out for play than last year. Aerosmith, BM66, Dialed In, Houdini, etc. Pretty sure I counted 6 Aerosmiths which is super impressive.
Quoted from djreddog:Anyone own a Honda Odyessey? Possible to get 3 pins in the back?
I think 2 max

Uh oh, conflicting stories. Got me worried now!
Quoted from emkay:Dang it Force, I'm trying really hard not to buy any pins this year but that looks so sweet.
Thanks, there's been a lot of interest in it so far. Lots of folks have been having a blast playing it. It's been fun to watch them go at it.

I'll bet. The irrational justification is strong this weekend for me and I'm sure I'm not alone. Coming home from Allentown without a new machine is like sitting at home watching Wheel of Fortune on prom night.
Quoted from jibmums:How's the weather there right now?
Clear for the moment, but rain is expected very soon.

I don't need nice weather to play pinball. It's not like we're going to see a baseball game.

Rain makes loading/unloading difficult and pretty much kills the outdoor flea market.
Quoted from djreddog:Uh oh, conflicting stories. Got me worried now!
Are you worried about taking games up or bringing them home? i should have room for another game on the way back and i could get it as far as Wilmington ( i am 2 miles from the booths corner farmers market where you play the Metallica) plenty of safe storage if you need it.
I am going to IM you my cell#, trying to introduce myself to all Delaware Pinsiders this trip
If anyone has a new or used stng rear mother ship that can bring to show tomorrow... Marco has them in stock but not here at the show. Need one for the show
Yikes!! Where are you staying? The ramada?
