Can't wait for this to begin this year. Cincy will be a great place for a show, I'm confident it will have the potential to become one of the best!
Quoted from Jjsmooth:Alice Cooper machine
Sweet, I've been wanting to play one of them!!!
Quoted from bobukcat:This is amazing, thank you American Pinball for supporting our first local show!!!! Can't wait to play Oktoberfest!
Hell yes!!! I can't wait to play them all!
Is that your Baywatch topper? lol
Quoted from Jjsmooth:A quick reminder to everyone to please drive safely...just thinkin..
Awesome day, awesome people, awesome pins, played until my wrist and hands hurt lol. Back at it today want to play Alice Cooper some more, it's a great pin for me.
Pincinnati, simply the best damn three days of 2018!! Thanks to Chuckwurt and jjsmooth for all the hard work they put in this to make it so great.
Can't wait for next year!
I really liked the Williams "Star Light," great layout, great shots was very fun to play. The other machine that surprised me with how fun it was Williams "Time Fantasy" this game was really fun with an interesting layout and art.
Can we come of with some form of pinsider ID for next year? I wanted to meet as many pinsiders as possible this year but only met the obvious (chuckwurt) and others directly involved. Anyone think this is a good idea? Nice to know the name and face behind the avatars on here.
I will give the meet and greet some thought between now and then. I have to say I had a blast at the show but, I also have to say I was glad to get back home to my own pins, nothing feels quite the same!
Scott I know a guy who has been searching for a restored BK so when you get it done I'll make him aware of it and you may just have a quick sale with him.
Chuck has the game list for the show been updated? Simply curious about the number of games coming this year.
Quoted from Viggin900:Is there a Hobbit?
I'm pretty sure they had both the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings last year so maybe we'll get lucky again this year!
Quoted from Agent_Hero:I liked the Spirit.
Played close to 20 games on that last year. Actually funny that it was open far more than I had anticipated considering how sought after it is as a pin.
Quoted from chuckwurt:I’m bringing a nice, super brutal sorcerer to the show. Anyone that beats the high score I’ll have an award for you.
Ha Ha, good luck mortal!
Quoted from chuckwurt:Separate tournament area. Check!
We're still going to be able to play the tourney pins when not in competition right?
Damn that sucks but there's still plenty of others to play! Channel12 news running a segment on Pincinnati this morning!
Had a blast today, played so much my elbows, wrist and fingers are hurting. Show is once again being very well ran and setup so kudos to jjsmooth and chuckwurt.
Quoted from bobukcat:Some more interesting items showed up.
Was looking at those cabs but couldn't play as they were still getting them setup and updated.
I had to have worn the flipper buttons down on Cyclone and Hurricane yesterday lol. Glad they were there, I'd forgotten how much fun they were!
A little more of a crowd today but still very good for play. I played Wonka and I'm going to reserve how I feel until after tomorrow when I have more games under my belt.
Played the JP and it was awesome!!
I still really like the Alice Cooper pin but it seems like it had a lot of issues with the opto switches recognizing the ball.
Quoted from lancestorm:This is a first I’ve heard of the optos , please let me know which ones. PM is fine if you prefer. I have had several instances of a ball ending up in the back box during Frankenstein rising but can’t repeat it manually when I try with glass off. It is a fun game!!
It is a great game! I played at least 20 games on it over the last 2 days and plan to get one for my own eventually.
@ Who-Dey Great meeting you at the show and I look forward to coming up your way.
What a show! Just got home and it was a great weekend to say the least. I have to say the show went really well, pins were working and in good shape, all without having to wait very long. I think I only waited a couple times and it was for only a game or two despite a great crowd!
Quoted from RWH:I played Wonka and I'm going to reserve how I feel until after tomorrow when I have more games under my belt.
Well I, played over 15 games on Wonka today and I have to say I enjoyed it a lot. I did not get the impression it was cheap though, actually I thought just the opposite that it was better built than most (leave JJP out of it) of the newer pins. IMHO this is a very fun pin and would not mind owning one in the future.
Finally Thanks to Eric and jjsmooth for all their effort, it paid in spades guys it was truly a great time for all.
Damn and only our third, sucks I was really looking forward to it but there is a bright side here it's coming back in 2021!
Quoted from Who-Dey:It's ok Russ just get in your car and drive to my house and I will kick your ass all nite long in pinball just the same as I would in Pincinnati. Same goes for you too Gunnut you hillbilly scrub!
Looks like we got one for the wood shed Gunnut40.
Man all this talk of Pincinnati has got me geeking again! lol Chuck are you guys going to make special T-shirts for 2020 Covid cancellation???? I've got 2 of each yr thus far, one to wear and one to frame each year....we can't have a gap! I'm not the greatest player but I may try a tourney or two next yr, it's pinball playing so can't miss!
Quoted from Gunnut40:Well the wife ain’t coming. I wonder if my son will bail also?
See ya there brother!
Pinposter (resized).jpgBeen to every show since its inception and it has continued to get better and better. Thx so much for an excellent experience Eric!
Quoted from chuckwurt:While whitewater is a horrible tournament game, I feel like we have to use it one year.
Why not just use a real stinker, Water World
Quoted from Gunnut40:Thanks for posting these. I have to put in vacation the first month of the year. Well…if I want to lock it in for sure.
Lock it in brother and see you there
Quoted from Cyclehoarder:Thanks I am planning on it! Looking froward to it being my First.
Pincinnati is a great choice, it's quickly becoming one of the best held every year
Quoted from Cyclehoarder:Looking forward to it, grew up in that area and retiring from my company in Loveland
Grew up in Loveland Park and graduated from Kings Mills, will make it a point to look you up at the show to BS and play some pinball
Quoted from conester:I'll have my Black Hole at the show. It will be for sale too!
I just may be a buyer we shall see
Slawburger fries and a bottle of ski bring it home for my baby n me
Quoted from Gunnut40:Hillbilly fuel!
Quoted from chuckwurt:Final tournament games list!!:
Damn Chuck drop that whirlwind off the tourney list and put it on the floor for me to get my hands on!!!! One of my fav's of all time
