Open offer - if anyone needs help setting up Friday morning, I'm happy to help. Looking for an excuse to drive up early instead of going into the office for the morning :p Shoot me a PM if anyone needs a hand.

Is there a buy/sell/trade thread going for the show somewhere? Don't want to junk this thread up, but I've got several leftover items from various projects others might be looking for I wouldn't mind bringing along (good DMD, glass, boards, etc.)

You know what I'd actually love to see? Two of the same game setup side by side, one with Precision Flips and one with standard flippers. Prove the difference isn't just in my head. If I'd thought about it sooner, I'd have brought my godzilla or rick and morty...

I see several games are gonna be there in multiple copies; I'd be willing to pull a set from one of my machines and loan them out for the weekend if someone wants to pop them in and see the dif...just tossing it out there, pm me if interested.

@JOusley, you should bring that Rush I traded you that i put them on!

    Quoted from chuckwurt:

Tilt or ZMeny are probably your best bets to pull that off.
Also. The Godzilla in the tournaments will have precision flippers on it. Interested to see what tournament players think.

Thought about that, but thought they might not be that keen on doing a temp mod to a game they're selling, or messing with mods they don't sell. Prolly enough to do on their hands right now too. Sure they're poking around here though, welcome shoot a PM if you are interested in a set of loaners.

Future event should barricade off limits areas with a row of Dr. No....

Well, dammit....now I want a Time Fantasy. UV mode is pretty neat.

    Quoted from goingincirclez:

Glad you enjoyed it! Just so you know, UV mode is a one-off exclusive: I hand-painted the entire thing with paint I mixed myself, and a kind code genius tweaked the game rom to enable the light relay on cue (all well before stern stranger things uv was released, I feel compelled to point out).
Standard TF is still remarkably fun for being so simple. Sometimes a no fuss basic game scratches the itch, I wanted one the first time I played Phoebe's in 2016.
Lots of cool things to play at this show tho. For me that Stargazer is not to be missed, and Lee's Getaway is always a standout. And it all evolved form Signal Jr and friends...

That's awesome man, nice work. I'm in Louisville, so if you ever need to raise some quick cash to get the IRS off your back, look me up Love how it's NOT easy to trigger...I turned it on three games in a row, found my friends to CHECK THIS OUT and then couldn't get it in again, lol

I put a bunch of time on that stargazer too, now on my list as well. Made me decide I'm gonna have to clear coat my seawitch cab when whenever I get to redoing it.

Power back yet? Killing time up the road.

Tell Duke someone is bound to have a spare wiring harness if that helps...

    Hyped for this year!

They set a date yet? @chuckwurt?

Hmm...I was planning on bringing a game or two. I'm assuming load in is Thursday, not Wednesday? Doesn't matter on my account as I can't imagine coming up Wednesday anyway, but others might wanna know for logistics.

    Quoted from chuckwurt:

The Road To Pincinnati (Pre show tournaments):
Come to town early and get more WPPRs!!:
Both of these will be at the local, awesome Arcade Legacy in Sharonville, OH (about 20 mins from the show)

Crap, now I wanna come Wed to get my ass kicked in the classics. Hmm.

Good call on the glow in the dark. This year, we'll be prepared...

    Quoted from Viggin900:

I want GTF to be there please!

Man, I just hope that Time Fantasy with the badass UV mod is back again. I think I basically just kept wandering back by and pulling up for a round any time it was unoccupied.

    Quoted from Cyclehoarder:

Any Louisville folks going up for the weekend, would love to meet some local (to me) Pinheads.

You should check out the Sunday night tourney at RecBar if you're near Louisville. Pretty laid back, good times.

    Quoted from Dan_Fielding:

That sounds good, I've enjoyed the games youse have brough to Pinbrew and the Cleveland show. Could you possibly bring a couple "older" Sterns like Munsters and Batman? Haven't played those in a while. Everyone always like the shiny new thing but forgets the older stuff. Thanks

Heh, older? They've even got LCDs man! I'll have my Seawitch if you want an old stern

That said, I do love some Batman 66 if someone wants to bring one!

Stern is dropping hints at the Jungle Jim's across the street.

If anyone happens to have a spare classic stern solenoid driver board I could buy, or just borrow until Sunday, shout at [email protected] or just look for this guy. The flipper enable relay decided to go wonky yesterday so my seawitch is unfortunately off until I can either replace that or pop in a new board.

EDIT: Found someone with a relay, replaced it on the board, golden.

Awesome show again. Thanks to Erik, Jerry, and everyone who makes it possible. Props to Tilt and Kingpin bringing all the new stuff, Pinball garage and all the local collectors bringing out the old stuff. Kevin, thanks for coming through with a relay to get Seawitch back up and running. Till next year!
